Hi guys,

Ive recently started watching piya albela , just have a few doubts, what actually is wrong with naren ? Why have the parents got pooja ? What work is she actually supposed to do ?

Naren is on the path of spirituality,lost in his own world of meditation. where as his father want him to take care of his businesses, further more he is worried that naren may become a saint and leave the house as naren's dadaji did. he don't want to lose his only son. hence he appointed pooja to distract him from his spiritual path , bring him to ordinary life and look after his business.pooja is paid for that 😆

Oh... Pooja is of no use in distracting, ye toh out n out oversmart behenji hai.

But in the show since she is the lead, she's gonna " distract" him. So ok.

Distracting here doesnt mean from cloth n beauty...but from his smartness...naren father saw puja becoming friendly with kids...nd also she can reply anyone answer without any hesistation...also one first epi...they show pooja caught theif nd oversmartly answer that theif...so father think that as she can tackle prob easily thats why handle naren too...nd also pooja character shows somehow practical ,serial maker highlighting that she is bcom 2nd yr stundent ( they think bcom students r practical enough) so his father might be thinking practical gal can handle emotional n oversensitive person easily
