Today's episode - boring and disappointing!
Today's episode got me thinking that may be initial promos of the show were only meant to lure the audience into watching the show. To give it a kick-start, may be. Because there's nothing in the show like that. Where is the spark 'Hum tumhare liye jaan le bhi sakte hain and de bhi sakte hain' attitude of Sher Singh.
Shraddha also suddenly fell in love with him. Probably in its purest form that's why she's acting like sher's holy mother. 😔🤣
There's no chemistry between Sherdha. Last night's bindi scene was so bland. I somehow can guess why Sher was so shocked to see Shraddha in his bed - who wants to see his mother in that kinda scenario anyway?🤣
MOST IMPORTANTLY - Why was there no closure to Sher's kidnapping sequence and BD's gunshot sequence? 😲😕
It is like Sher became Ghajini🤣and forgot about Shraddha-Virat and the whole fiasco in an instant. Suddenly, forgave Shraddha and fell in awkward love with her all over again. I understand the Rani incident softened him but to that extent? Really?
Despite that pothole, Sherdha's love journey is smooth as ever. And not to mention - boring as ever! Infact, I think every other love story - BD & Aditya and Bikas & Sunehri - has more action than Sherdha's.
Shraddha's character is 😆so typically indian serial that she says all to make Sher's character weak. Sher also performs much better with other characters than Shraddha. I think both Gaurav and Kirtida are also not convinced with what they are doing because it is clearly evident in their performance.
Such a weak job by creative team and the director!
Ok! end of my rant!
@bold - rant away and get it off your chest. I have been ranting a lot offline with other friends who watch or used to watch. The friend for whom I started watching PR is herself not watching it anymore😆
@ blue - For all the time GSB spent trying to get Kirtida to open up so they can build a rapport and that chemistry comes through onscreen, has gone to waste. They are really coming across blah onscreen. Besides I dont agree with his reasoning either. But that is not the point here.
The writing is very weak and the editing sucks. I have no expectations from newbie Kirtida, I am not impressed with her emoting but Gaurav was pretty good in the beginning. Lately he seems to be just mouthing dialogues. Quite possible he is not convinced with the story or his character. I hope he has recovered from injury and that is not the cause of his emoting not being upto the mark.
On the mother comment, Adi seems only to eager to have a woman his mom's age in that kinda scenario😆
CVs are the Ghajinis yaar. Maybe they are waiting for the ideal bahu and biwi to reunite mother and son - by that I mean Sher and BD😆 and at that time Sher will learn about Virat and BD's fake injury fiasco and there will again be separation between them. I dont know. I am tired ranting about that. I will not be surprised if that is never brought up again though. Desi CVs leave a lot of loose ends and forget about them later.
There was another show I watched a few years ago where the girl was tricked into marrying a goon. The orphaned female protagonist was ill treated all her life by her relatives, submissive and quiet but she had no respect for the husband, it took some time for her to see his good side, slowly fall in love with him, trust and respect him. She still had contempt for him while she fell in love with him, grudgingly. Her confusion, her conflict with herself and her growing affection for him came across well. It was Beautifully done.
I guess I was expecting something similar here given the circumstances Sherdha got married. But Shraddha so quickly forgot and forgave and accepted her new life. Dont even get me started on Sher's instant falling in and out of love with Madamji.
What about her brother? Is he dead or missing? Shraddha had no time to grieve for her dadi's death or the revelation of her brother's whereabouts as revealed by BD. Too many loose ends and too many things need closure as viewers. I am loosing hope though.
