Update 09/02/05 (UK)
Malini tells Shweta ''I know your pregnant!''. Shweta feels very scared and apprehensive. Malini tells Shweta ''But you cant have this child, it would ruin my plans and it would change the whole scheme of things''. Shweta says ''but its my child, i want to have it''. Malini says ''no Shweta, this child cannot be born, you have to have an abortion, this child must die!''. Shweta feels very scared and refuses to have an abortion. Malini's eyes (which seem to be getting darker and darker every episode) well up with anger and she firmly tells Shweta that she has made all the preparations for an abortion and Shweta must go. She starts literally dragging Shweta out into the hallway and Shweta keeps refusing but Malini keeps telling her that her baby must die.
Shweta wakes up screaming and in a sweat, she realises it was a nightmare. She feels very anxious all of a sudden. Anand comes in and asks her whats wrong and why does she look frightened. Shweta tells Anand that she has something to tell him ''Anand, im-'' (before she gets to tell him shes pregnant..Malini comes in the doorway). Malini stands there and Shweta looks up at her and her words are stuck in her throat. Malini asks her if shes ok as she was shouting. Anand says ''Shweta, whats the matter, what were you gonna tell me?''. Malini looks at Shweta inquisitively. Shweta tells Anand that she'l tell him later. Malini looks a tad curious now.
Rimjhim is sitting alone in the garden thinking about everything Shweta told her. Rimjhim starts weeping as we see flashbacks of the conversation where Shweta told Rimjhim that shes pregnant with Avinashs child. Rimjhim feels more and more sadder and cries as she thinks more about it and everything it implies..i.e. that Shweta and Avinash arent even husband and wife..and this was all Malini's farce but its turned into something very serious. Rimjhim starts sobbing really hard. Yashoda sees her from afar in the garden. Yashoda comes over, hesitantly (for fear of being seen by Anand), she asks Rimjhim whats wrong. Rimjhim tells her that Shwetas pregnant with Avi's child. Yashoda is shocked and pacifies Rimjhim that its not Avinash's fault as hes brainwashed and he considers her his wife.
Rakesh is looking at some paperwork that Mohini gave him. Rakesh cant believe what Mohini has done. Mohini says she has transferred all of Tanya's property and money into Rakesh's name. Mohini tells him that she wants that money and property and that Rakesh must now move to London as soon as possible and after they marry she will move with him. Rakesh cant believe Mohini can be so selfish and he tells her that. Mohini says ''why not!? after all, im the one whos been working so hard to earn this money..why should it all go into Tanya's name and why should she get to spend the millions!''. Rakesh tells her that shes been extremely selfish and now he sees her true colours at last. Rakesh tells that this money is Tanya's and this is her right of birth. Rakesh tells Mohini that he will not marry her and she is a bad woman. Rakesh says ''you've been using me all along to get your hands on this money!''. He throws the papers up in her face and walks away. Mohini looks somewhat helpless.
Tanya is walking in her house when Mohini stops her and says ''Tanya, i need you to sign these papers''. Tanya gets suspicious and says ''what papers''. Mohini says its urgent that she sign these as its for work purposes it. Tanya is apprehensive. Rakesh comes along and tells Tanya to sign the papers. Tanya tells him to butt out but he tells her to listen to her stepmom as shes always been looking out for her. Mohini gets happy and thanks Rakesh. Rakesh comes over to her and slaps her hard on her face..Mohini is super shocked to be slapped by Rakesh. Rakesh calls her a selfish woman whos trying to rob Tanya of her money. Rakesh tells Tanya to not sign anything and that Mohini is using him and trying to manipulate her. Rakesh tells Mohini that he doesnt want anything to do with her..and he walks away for good ( go Rakesh! ). Mohini looks defeated.
Avinash wakes up in the morning and without looking at the other side of the bed he asks Shweta to wake up early as he needs to go to work early today. Shweta doesnt answer back and he gets up to realise that shes not on the bed. He starts walking around the house in the morning looking for her. He gets the servant to check outside..then he bumps into Malini and asks her if she knows where Shweta is. Malini says no. Rimjhim looks on at Anand. Alittle later they find a letter from Shweta. Anand opens it and reads it and hes shocked. He gives it to Malini to read and Malini reads it aloud ''I have gone away from home Anand..i feel pained to say this but i have left for good''. Rimjhim looks a tad sad.
Yashoda gets a call from Naina-devi. Naina-devi confides in Yashoda that Kaveri isnt doing very well and she isnt eating or anything..she feels very depressed and misses her son. Yashoda feels her pain. Naina-devi requests Yashoda to call Rimjhim over ..as may be Rimjhim can help out and make Kaveri understand. Yashoda is very concerned and says she'l certainly do so.
Rimjhim bumps into Yashoda at home. Rimjhim tells Yashoda that Shweta's gone AWOL. Yashoda is like ''why''. Rimjhim says ''shes probably scared of Malini and what Malini would do to her if she found out about her pregnancy''. Rimjhim gets concerned for Shweta's welfare as she is pregnant and needs care. Yashoda pacifies her that may be shes gone to stay with some relatives or her parents. Yashoda tells Rimjhim that she has a favour to ask..Rimjhim says go on. Yashoda says that Naina-devi called as Kaveri isnt doing too well without her son..and that Rimjhim should come over asap. Rimjhim says ''of course'' and they leave for Kaveri's house. Rimjhim pacifies Kaveri and tells her to take it easy and relax as things will get better soon..her son will be returned to her and the family will probably even reunite. Then..Naina-devi comes along and she and Kaveri hug.
Rimjhim goes shopping at the mall, on her own..quite randomly lol. Shes looking at Salwar kameez's in bright colours (in case you wanna know)..then she notices someone on the floor below. She thinks he looks familiar. Then she realises that he looks like Anands dad!!! She thinks about the photo of Anands dad and then she thinks about this guy she sees shopping on the floor below.

Rimjhim is on a search for this guy...she gets the security camera guys to show their live footage to her for every floor. The man is leaving the shops..Rimjhim is hot on the trail.
