Maybe he thinks that he can't take care of Champa because he doesn't make enough money, or it could be that he is living in the same town, and if he married Champa, people would disgrace(or even kill) him as well...😕

guess thts quite common in rural india... men double the age marrying girls who hasnt even entered their teens..

but thts reality! tht happens a lot in this country we live in... and i guess we are just the luckier lot... if we just go back a bit in time... we could find such examples even in our own family - may be a grandma or a great grandma who was married at the age of 12-13...


and with phulwa, considering the horrible things that are to come, this one may be really insignificant... and finally... its champa whoz getting married to ramsharan here now, not phulwa... viewers are spared of one wrong message there.**sighs**
