Hello both
In my humble opinion - True love is loving and accepting someone as they are - with their strengths and weaknesses and who you stands by you/who you stand by through good times and bad.
I think that was one of things I admired about TVS
- he was faithful to Sugni from the moment he told her he had fallen in love with her. He never once considered turning to someone else not for comfort, not to make Sugni jealouse, not even when he thought she was dead;
- he was always a perfect Gentlmen with her (never once thought or did anything that made her uncomfortable o took advantage of the fact that they were going to be married). The one time he tried to hurt her (the one night stand) he could not do it.
- In trying to make her understand that he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life woh kudh girgaya but he never let her fall
- he stood by her when she was going through a bad phase. Unfortunately she did not stand by him during his bad time. In fact he saved her mother, mami, nephew ie he saved her family and in return she destoryed his.
I have said from the very beginning that you cannot expect an 20 year old to go into a relationship with a married man whose wife has made it very clear that she is not going anywhere. But she loved him and knew how much he loved her, knew that he helped and supported her when no one else would (not even Aditya who made a pregnent woman get up within an hour of giving birth to go home because he could not handle them being in his home) so she could have either gone as far as possible away from him (to make it easy on both them) or talk to him once, get the anger, the pain etc out and make him understand why they had to call it a day and then stay of of each other's way as much as possible or ask his help to go to the city and pursue her dream because I have no doubt he would helped.
Sugni always said she did not want to be a bedni but to certain extent her actions showed her to be exactly that because only a bedni would move on from one guy to another in a blink of an eye without any guilt/without one moment of sadness. That along with her destroying his family to acheive her dream while he saved her's from being destroyed, destroyed the character of Sugni for me even more than her doing her own sardhakai.
