Well firstly, i agree that this love story is not a fairy tale in its true sense. The girl had her prince charming but due to circumstances and fate she lost him completely and for his sake decided to sacrifice her happiness. and move on in life, unaware that her past will soon come back to haunt her and probably now she might get her chance of a happy ever after.
From the beginning of PSH i always thought that Amrita and Adi's relationship was a very special one , i mean they both were completely different from each other in terms of their personalities, their perspective about life and the society in which they lived in. But this is what made their relationship so unique. They did not let these differences come in the way of their love for each other and this is also why they both complemented each other. Amrita was like his inner conscience, always guiding him in making decisions, telling him what he should or shouldn't do, She was always by his side. Adi, even though was very stubborn and never wanted to see her perspective did love her or so it seemed. She on the other hand always loved him sincerely. But fate played a cruel game with them and the relationship we thought, initially was going to create another unique love story shattered in a heart beat when Adi decided to "fulfill certain responsibilities towards his family" .Yes, i agree he became blinded by those responsibilities and fell in love with some one else, he broke Amrita's heart and trust and as a result of his actions, he created a gap between his loved ones. Adi should have realized that some things are not in our hands and we cannot force our decisions on others, sometimes we may think that we are doing something for the benefit of others but really and truly we are just hurting them with our actions. In order to make a proper decision we first have to understand the situation at hand, understand the feelings of the people involved and put ourselves in their shoes before resolving the issue. This is what he failed to understand and do and as a result of his actions, he lost the girl he once loved.
It is rightly said that we never realize the value of something until we lose it and this is exactly what happened. Sometimes in life we have to learn things the hard way so may be this was life's way to teaching Adi the importance of relationships and the importance of understanding and respecting our loved ones. Today, Adi has taken full responsibility for his actions in the past and is trying his level best to make amends. Of course it will take time for Amrita to truly forgive him and i don't blame her ,Adi did hurt her immensely and deserves to work hard so as to earn her respect, love, forgiveness and trust again. Their love story involved many ups and downs but one good thing that has happened is that they both have become stronger and more confident individuals and the bond that they share will definitely strengthen with each passing day as they are slowly beginning to understand and appreciate the persons that life has forced them to become. Adi for once has proven that he now understands the difference between loving someone with your brain and loving someone with your heart. We can clearly see that he is willing to do anything to win Amrita's love, even probably risk his own life, so this love story is indeed slowly maturing into something that seems very promising and i know for sure that Amrita loves Adi dearly and when you truly love a person your heart always finds a reason to forgive that person for whatever pain he caused you.
