This is beyond digusting and completely out of Jwala Signh Takur's character. The way he was written he was a man who had a soft spot for Gulabiya and carried himself with dignity even though he had a mistress and a girl from her he ignored. I had hoped this show would have explored his relationship with Gulabiya but it ended it abruptly sometime in June to focus on the Sugni TVS romance and did not bring them back until much later...

The show is also trying to cash in on the horrific rape that took place - we don't need shows like this - it very cheap and disgusting of them to do this.

I agree with Laila2009.

TJS was arrogant, dominating, had outdated view of women and their place, believed in the class system and the traditions that existed in their communities but he was not a leach. In fact he called up DV on his behaviour of going after every girl.

So we have another character that has been rewritten.

When will these writers understand that change in the actor that portrays a character IS NOT a licence to change the character.

What am I saying - they have rewritten characters when the actors have remained the same such Gulki and Varun.

@ Payal they have re written the whole show. They have made such a mess of things that getting anything back to it's former self will take nothing but a miracle.
I am glad in a way that the TRP's have dropped so low as it shows them with out a doubt that people will not except such crap in the name of creativity.
To begin with it was a novel concept..and very sensitive that needed to be handled delicately. It started off as such. We had brilliant speeches givin by Gulabiya, about life as a bedni, how it happend her struggles. From Jwala about age old traditions and why he sees the practice as right. From TVS who advocated that women were not just toys and baby making machines but people who ran a nation, Sugni who asked why dose being born a bedni mean her life can't be different... Even Digvijai at the begging...showcased the mindset of the youth born into such homes where their father has no respect for women...The TRp's soared. The audience loved it!!! Because behind all the atrocities there was a voice to say it is wrong.
For the past few months we have seen more immoriality upon more immorality and no one is raising a voice to say it is wrong. Champa is told to accept her faith., not only by Sugni's Mami but by her own uncle!
Kuhu, wheather it is shame or pride,,, is shown as begging her husband and hiding the Abuse...Claiming her husband is her life...when she should be angry at being cheated...
Reva Caught Jwala Singh...but instead of putting him in his place ...in the end she says "Every man should think only of himself" That comming from a woman...who could see another woman in trouble and not try to at least prevent it... Is just Sick!
And If they are still wondering what is wrong with the show they are more dumb than we give them credit for!!!

I was shocked at Reva's behaviour too Vinnie. I have been shocked ever since she told Kuhu to go ahead with DV when she heard Sugni warning kuhu against DV. She did it then and again yesterday because she though it would benefit her in some way.

As you say not one woman in this show is being shown as a postive, strong role model.

all men are not trustworthy.
father in law is lusting after daughter in law from behind the doors.
Uncle is literally harassing young woman of the house and wanting to sleep with her.
Aunts are worst than a witch.
sister in laws are not trust worthy.
lie and keep on taking the abuse to keep mommy happy.it is ok to be beaten on the first night together as a couple as long as your family is in the dark about it. keep on smiling.
insult the only person who is on your side for your well being.
self pity, useless scheming , lie,cheat,physical and emotional atyachar. I am trying to look for the light of ray in this show but there is none.

Jwala was always disgusting. he could never honour his wife.. How can he honour another woman that too his daughter-in-law? Remember what he said to his wife when Gulabia offered him sex for money. He is already morally corrupt. Digvijay is his reflection. Seeing Digvijay itself one can make out how the father would be. Father-in-law lusting after daughter-in-law is not a new thing🤢. Hundreds of such cases I have read in newspaper🤢😡. I hope these people send out a strong message about such issues rather than using it as a means to gain trps.

this show has lost all morals long time ago so i dont except anything good from the writers they r psycho and showing us mentally sick story in the show which is disgusting...i just hate this show from bottom of my heart and i hope this show end soon...

U've summed up how the show went from decent to disgusting Vinnie. In fact there is not much I can add😆. Did anyone else find Sugni forcing Kuhu to drink the achololic beverage by shoving it down her thoat plain disturbing. I understand that the way Kuhu is w/her hubby is unhealthy & she didn't take Sugni's advice but seeing Sugni just listen to Kuhu's hubby and forcing her to drink- it was quite visually unpleasing. I only watch bits & pieces of the show & it's not right to force someone who usually doesn't drink and is against themselves drinking to drink. So what we saw today was Kuhu unwillingy have her 1st drink- this was her 1st drink?! I didn't mind Sugni slapping her that much but the drinking incident I just mentioned- o dear😔.

Another problem will come in kuhu life ... Just because of sugni

DV wants to take kuhu to his dad ... So just because of sugni she is drunk n wont b able to fight for her self n will be raped n then sugni will say oh no i didnt mean this no no
