Dear CV's / Zee,

I was always under the impression that television viewing was for the audience enjoyment /entertainment and sometimes to highlights the harsh realities of life for us.

I also understand that Phir Subh Hogi is such a subject that deals with the harsh realities of the life of a very down trodden, part of society that maybe most people turn a blind eye on. But seeing that the format you used to market this show was as a serial/soap opera and not a reality TV show...I find in the past few months your handling of the Subject matter distasteful, bordering on ridiculous, crass, and in no where entertaining .

At the beginning of this serial you were praised for tackling such a subject matter, you came out onto the social networking sites and asked audiences of their opinions and made some of them feel honered when they saw some of these suggestions on the screen. It felt as though you really are connected to the audience some how.

Then things got a little shady (reva Manzil) , and the Audence expressed their distaste for it. It is understood that you had a particular vision for the story and certain characters to play certain parts...So dispite the majority of your audience favoring a particular character as the "hero" you took the creative initiative and stuck to the original plan.
The problem now is they way the story has unfolded till date has left a bad taste in the "Majority" of the audience mouth. I say that using the polls on this forum as an example of public opinion. Each one of these Polls states that the story has lost the essence since the Main Character, Sugni, has the least in audience support, sympathy, and respect, even though she is going through some of the worst circumstances any one can go through.

That in itself should tell you something, as on this forum most of the members are ladies. This story is a female based story about getting through a tough life triumphant, turning bad circumstances into her favor. But here the heroine is being shown as causing most of these circumstances onto herself, well finding sympathy for that is hard.

If the purpose of this show was to showcase the strength , integrity, will power, faith, and self respect of Sugni, sadly you have not achieved it in any way.

If the purpose of your story is to show that once you are downtrodden, and in a hole, you bend to circumstance and follow the norms of society as there is no way out, well you have achieved that with roaring success!

In achieving that though you have really disappointed and disillusioned the public who had high hopes of seeing a story with a difference. And it really is a sad state of affairs when you have people here who watch this not because it is a story that touches our hearts, but because we just happen to like the actor(s).

I was one of thoses who had high hopes of cheering Sugni on in her Journey , but sadly I am appalued that such creative writers could have distroyed such a beautiful and spunky character.

With all Due respect,
Deeply saddened and disillusioned

Vinnie, You have been talking on the Facebook forum and you were thrown off. You write posts here and converse with someone who is apparently Varun Badola. Do you think these people care? They told you openly what they think - Aditya is perfect (he got the best son award), Gulabiya is right (she is the best mother) and TVS is well, a villain. I do not know what that makes Sugni.

Do not waste your breath. These people do not care.

I agree that it appears that no one seems to be listening or care about what people are saying on this forum.
However it important to say/protest when we believe something is wrong, offends us, goes against our values/principles/morals because if we do not, our actions (or I should say inaction) would be construed as condoning that behaviour.
This show has sunk into the gutter and each new twist sinks it further into that gutter.
It should be renamed from Phir Subah hogi (which suggests there is hope) to Hindi equivalent of Dente's 7 circles of hell

they r so cheap, and now there is no concern about any thing, they r doing only "Dhandha" *business* baniye ki trah traju ka pltha kabhi is taraf jhukate hai kabhi us taraf.. kabhi adi ki taraf kabhi V ki traf, their no relation to any kind of creativity ... may be they laugh at us, and do always what they want, their single motto is " How to hurt to the audians more".. and they pondering for this , they never show what we want, they hurt us more then before and enjoy and say ...

and we r main culprit who still watching this faltoo show, only for one man and his performance... and this is our fault..

Vinnie very well written

i had great expectations from this show. Vikram sugni were such strong characters with never say die attitude. But the makers have reduced it to saas bahu show and sugni as a helpless sacrifycing wife and vikram as a lusty villan. That urge desire to fight the world for your rights is lost in sugni and vikram is reduced to a scheming fellow. Highly disappointing.

I agree with Pankhudi here. Zee won't listen to us. They have a long history of showing such kind of disgusting tracks in their shows. In PR Ekta is showing two sisters pregnant by the same guy🤢I didn't have problem if they showed the bedni lifestyle in a realistic manner as long as they showed Sugni liberating herself from the tradition and become a stronger woman. I find it hard to sympathize with Sugni. She has been reduced to a cheap hypocrite👎🏼. This is not the Sugni in the beginning of show whom majority of us liked for her vivacity ,strong-will power. If they wanted us to sumpathize with Sugni then they should have shown Vickram negative from the beginning. Instead we got to see Sugni,Gulabiya,Reva, Adi pushing him towards self-destruction. That's why majority of us ended up sympathizing with Vickram instead. Its difficult to believe that the upright TVS we saw in the beginning has turned into a lecherous Thakur. At this point the show looks vulgar to me. I can't call this bold. There were lot of bold serials in the 90s but you can not call them vulgar. These show should be axed by the Zee TV for stigmatizing a woman in such a way. Sorry for the long ranting I had to get this out of my system😆

The Purpose of this "open letter" was just to let them know that the audience are not as stupid as they think we are. If they are proud of their work as writers, well that is sad!...,
I have no hopes to see any changes here, and I know that this is most likely to fall on deaf ears. But at least they would know just exactly what the audience thinks about this story.
When it was good, we had no problems praising them, and when it is being destroyed well we should voice our opinions., least they think the audience are fools who will accept anything once we put "Sita Miya " into it!

I agree Payal that she should not stop - however, as nice and polite she's been about it, what did she get? On FB she was removed (and so was I and others) when we protested in June. The moderator - who claimed to be involved in the creative development of the show - was full of false promises and particularly disliked the fans of TVS and the Sugni jodil
