Yes, what happened to Sugni does not fall under the legal definition of rape. If Sugni took this to a court of law, she would not find it easy to support her case. As terrible as the situation might be for her, she agreed to this transaction. She agreed to bed TVS to protect Aditya. Granted we all know the writers set up this so we could hate TVS, but this act does NOT make him a rapist. You could not even successful try this case in the west and win. So please, will you stop calling it a rape; you can call is everything else, but it is not fall under the definition of rape as much as you hate what you have witnessed.

but acc to the customs of the villagers i just say tat a thakur who did sardhakai or purchased a bedni started the relation with her

sugni just repaid him for one night which bednis do for their whole life as per there customs
