Can I please make a HUMBLE request

Can people on this forum please STOP referring to rape casually. Forcing a person to have a physical relationship against their will is rape.

Rape is an henious act that destroys the soul/spirit of the person who suffers it.

I was expecting an outcry today on this forum to the CVs about showing/suggesting such an act being depicted by any character whether you like or dislike that character because most of the posters on this forum are women.(There was a bigger uproar when Amu was slapped then there is today).

Instead the suggestions seem to range from if it has not happened this time, it may happen in the future, that she will become pregnant and whether Adi or TVS or Reva wlll bring up the child etc...

I know this show has decended into the gutter (a complete low moral nightmare) where each situation that the CVs think of, sinks the show to a new low but does that mean we all lower ourselves to that level? If we lower ourselves to the level of the thoughts of the CVs of this crap show then are we any better than them?

I know this is a fictional programme but that does not justify any henious act being shown/insinuated and instead of an outcry we accept it and make flippant comments. There is an old saying "It takes a few good man to do nothing for evil to prevail"

This is my humble opinion. Sorry I do not mean to offend anyone but I am very saddened by what I am reading today on this forum.

The main problem here is .. that every 1 is busy about Vikram and Adi but no one thinks about Sugni ... and why she is like that(we couldnt understand it) .. CV made the story this way that public think about the males but 4got the main victom here The female

No matter she was right or wrong .. I think this is wrong and it should not happen to her.

This show has crossed all lines when it comes to showing the degradation of Women. Be it the exploitation of women, the abuse of women, the humiliation of women... they did it all. AND we have all been saying for months that this show is going to the DOGS! THIS SHOW ITSELF HAS NO RESPECT FOR WOMAN HOOD, as their is not one FEMALE character in this show who is Self respecting, strong, and willing to fight on her own. They show the women as weak, needing a man, at the mercy of men, the one character that could have shown that this is not the case Amrita, was chased off, when she could have shown that women can make it in life on their own.
The rape, and yes that is exactly what it is, of Sugni just shows how twisted and sick the writer of this story is...So Sugni sat there with to options do it or die , their is never the third option of fight back! , because that would not be in the best interest of the writer!
If the writer of this story is a woman, then she really really missed her mark in what it is she is trying to showcase here. WHICH IS A SHAME
I admit I am one of those who has thus far supported the actions on TVS., because of the empathy I feel towards his character. And yes , for me finding sympathy for Sugni is hard because she never showed her self the respect that she should have. (Thanks again to the WRITER for this)
To the women who are looking at the show are have been faced with similar situations in life, this will just serve the purpose of opening a nighmare for them. To young ladies looking at this hoping to find some up lift-meant, all you would find here is that it is a man's world and women are at the mercy of them! ( CAN ANY ONE REMIND THESE PEOPLE WE ARE IN 2012)
We have movies like Daar, Anjam, Lajja, where these women went through hell and back, but found the courage from the inside to fight on their own and keep their self respect intact.
Then we have Phir Subha Hogi...where the women bend to the whims of this men, like puppets on a string or needs the support of a man .
PHIR SUBH HOGI is a show of Darkness, there is nothing good in this story, every thing has been misguided, misused, and just thrown into the story because for some twisted reason it all makes sense to the CV's .

this show wanna say that GIRLS do not play with MAN's feelings... if he loves u deeply he will do anything to get u !!

Love is not a game it can be a Dangerous game !! so dont play with man's love as a toy -use and throw when u dont want. Sugni is the reason why vikram b'com like that she is the biggest reason... she made him burn inside that thing made him do this wrong things..

we the woman can make home and can break it

we the woman can make man great but can ruin him to

sugni broke vikram's home and ruined him killed his soul

Rape is a heinous act. The whole society acknowledges it as a barbaric act but ironically it is rampant within the society.And this is not for the first time that a show would display rape. I remember a rape bid in the show "Karol Bagh". If the rape thing is essential for story to move forward and justifies the realism in the story and sensitizes the people that even a bedini has respect and modesty that should not be taken for granted and violated then I am up for it provided it should not appear vulgar and does not leave a bad taste. Moreover this act of Vikram should not go unpunished later.

A bedini woman in reality would have seen much more harshness 🤢than what has been depicted in the show.Given the bedini backdrop, I expect that creatives can show such brutal realities.

As a woman, I do not discriminate between a prostitute and an upright woman when it comes to dignity. Most of the times a woman has been forced into prostitution and once she is into it she cannot come out because society has already ostracized her.We should condemn it and have empathy for such women instead of having a cliche opinion that " prostitute never has any izzat in the first place to be defended".

Coming to Sugni, Vikram should have left her the moment she refused him. Even in the case he thinks that she betrayed him.I condemn what Sugni is going through currently.

hi girls...If u have any complaints on the contents of PSH about Rape or intimmate scences,u can report it to BROADCASTING CONTENT COMPLAINT COUNCIL (BCCC) and report them to close PSH or else save TVS from the crime of rape before he insists to do so.

it breaks my heart into pieces while seeing whats happening in this show now...beyond of any tastes

on the line of cvs...make sugni pregnant with vikram's child ...wow what a show...my god...first love a man then marry his nephew now have sex wth ur x-lover n have kids of him while remaining married to another man...what more to come??? how much low will they gonna show woman in this damn suck show??

PLZZZ CLOSE THIS SHOW ASAP n save women's integrity...

on the last call...make it a sugvi pair while shutting this show down

I do not support this act of TVS.

I agree with parts of everyone's posts here.

Vinnie, I agree that Sugni drove him to this when she married Aditya at gun point.

Sweet Krishna: I agree with your point that in real life, bednis suffer more than that.

My own point is that solely for the purpose of making Adini accepted, they made TVS commit such a sin. TVS character would not do such a heinous deed.

The other side of the coin is that Sugni did not have to allow herself to be raped And yes, she allowed herself to be raped because she KNEW that was going to happen and instead of doing something to stop it, she went there and sat like a sacrificial lamb. She could have let Aditya know the truth and move out of the house where she is not welcome. Just for the sake of acceptance, she would rather be raped and have Aditya fight in the ring thingy.

Unlike other unfortunate women, Sugni had options and had a choice to be raped or not.

So while I do not like what TVS did and I am in no way supporting this horrible act of his, it did not have to happen.

I think if Sugni is being blamed for driving Vikram to what he is today, then I think Vikram should be blamed for making Sugni what she is today:

He should take the blame for making Sugni fall in love with him, trust him like never before (even more than she trusted her mother), hide Riva's existance for a very long time (despite Gulabia telling him to tell Sugni the truth) resulting into her finding out the truth on her wedding day at the mandap, not to mention her broken dreams and humiliation she was subjected to. Everything that followed was the chain reaction that started after all this.

Forcing someone - not necessarily physical force - to have sexual ic with you - how is that ever right?

If people dont want the word rape to be used - fine...whatever word you want to use - does that make it right?

Putting everything aside...a man making a woman (ex, current, betrayed, lost all that doesnt matter) have sex with him using any sort of blackmail is wrong...that's it for me...

dont care about Vikram - suguni love, dont care about Aditya - suguni marriage... all these go straight out of the window!

Force in any form or shape to subjugate a woman sexually cannot ever be right for me...
