I never expected SugVi to last.
It would not be much of a story if she met, fell in love, married and acheived all her dreams with the first guy she meets would it?
So I do not have problem with SugVi being separated. My problem is the way they have re-written TVS's character so that he has become hard core negative and there is no logical reason for it.
This character has:
- lost both of his parents at a young age (at the beginning his mother was dead) and has had responsibility of bringing up a young sister, taking care of the family business etc
-at young age seen his older sister's life being destroyed when her husband left her and her son destitute and peniless and he took on the responsibility of taking care of them (in one of Adi's flashback TVS was shown to be about 20)
-spent 9 years in a hell of a marriage (lets not debate whether it was or was not)
- defied convention and dared to fall in love with a Bedni and decided to marry her
- in the last 3 months or so (since the wedding debacle) been insulted, mentally and physically abused, generally been to hell and back as he has tried to convince the love of his life not to give up on hiim or them
- walked away from her and his home and family to try to come to terms with the fact that he has to live without her because that is what she wanted.
The character that has the strength to go through all of that is going to be destroyed because he believes that the woman he loved tried to have him killed and has married his nephew because he is younger and single? Seriously?
Yes he would be devestated and very angry but become obsessive and hard core negative who is hell bent on detroying everything - No?
I expected him to become harder/tougher, not trusting anyone, cutting Adini out of his life metaphorically but subborn enough to want show those two that they did not break him or change his mind about divorcing Reva and find and punish those goons that tried to kill him.
I think vinnie said in her post The only character on the show that was stable enough, powerful enough, and shrewd enough to deal with wicked people like Reva, DV, TJS has been made a villain by the CVs
She is absolutely right. TVS had the strength and character to stand upto TJS and deal with DV. TJS had no respect for him until TVS played him at his own game and won. Its not without reason that TJS says that TVS is cunning and therefore dangerous.
Are the writers really expecting Adi to stand up to TJS (a man more than twice his age) and Sugni to deal with DV ? How credible is that scenario? Are those people really going to respect a young guy (Adi) especially one who has married a Bedni?
So or the sake of this programme they need to restore TVS to what he was but with a few changes and move on to the next storyline. The only way to do this TVS waking from the coma after being stabbed and moving forward from their.
