Absolutely Julie! Gosh, yes, any decent man helping a woman thus far deserves a medal of chivalry!
With a husband batterer like Reva, a divorce is a relief for poor Vikram the abused husband who has received nothing but pain from his vain, self conceited, so-called wife. Like her brother, Reva should be ousted from the haveli by TVS, paid for her living expenses for her and her brother's keep to make them ashamed and told to get a life!
To rescue this disaster prone story, poor Vikram, after all is a man who will fall in despair if he truly loved someone who has ultimately turned against him, will need to spend some time in isolation away from the rest including Sugni, who is slowly turning into a aggressive, narcissist herself like Reva. He should instead leave his home, let her live in his house and gain more support from an UNDERSTANDING & CARING motherly figure who will be the only one to know of his whereabouts until the case is clear either way.
While Sughni lives in a haveli with all his memories and his absence, only them Sughni may do some self reflection and understand his love for her and see the "V inside the A" that TVS was hinting, for that to happen she needs to see how much she is hurting Adi & Amrita and see the difference between Adi & Vikram's true love for her and her own selfishness and acceptshe was wrong on all accounts & therefore she needs a reality check! As for Adi he needs to do the most honourable thing and return his Mama's bride to TVS.
Though the way Sughni is carrying on, it's best if both, Vikram & Adi desert her completely and Vikram marries someone who truly is beautiful & sensitive, who can empathise with him, support him and, love him till eternity. This, leaving a frustrated, angry and jealous Sughni to deal with her envy all alone back with her rascal, lay about, idle, good for nothing Uncles and (prostituting) mother., looking for someone else to solve their issues.
