I mentioned earlier I would respond to each post...but I am going to cheat here and try to capture everything in one simple post...
Intially when the creatives were hinting at turning TVS grey, I was not against the idea..for me everyone has shades of grey...I thought, OK, he will be like JR in Dallas, or Nucky Thompson in Broadwalk Empire...a lead character you like, but also "love to hate." Mr. Rochester we loved, but he did deceive Jane Eyre.. To me a grey character is someone who is "bad" but not cruel to the ones he loves...
Like a number of you, I defended TVS' actions based upon his initial character. He was indeed a man of principle who sincerely loved Sugni and wanted to give her a better life. Even up to the point when he was guilty for seperating Gulabiya from Sugni, I felt sorry for him...but afterwards I gradually lost respect...how can this man who had so many morals and values sink so low that he would seperate Sugni from her own mother? She's the one person who she loves and adores...it's not a competition. Even though Gulabiya is hell bent on destroying his chances, the TVS I saw would have said, I will let Sugni know myself BEFORE I marry her.
If you genuinely love someone and are a man with a spine who is not a besotted fool in love, you are not afraid to do these things. A confident man his honest and sincere..TVS is no longer than man whom we adored. Even Mr. Rochester never stooped so low to turn Jane against anyonne...
This part of the story was too much and too ugly..the deception was tolerable, but the destruction of Sugni's relationship with his mother just became too much.
I sincerely believe that the writers are hellbent on destroying TVS in order to make us root for a Aditya Sugni jodi, but this jodi has to work WITHOUT destroying TVS. We loved TVS and Sugni and it was done without destroying Aditya...the writers are free to give us the story they want and we have done all we can here and people have done all they can on Facebook...
We can speak with our voice and one thing I will do is stop watching the show...I can hardly watch it now...we've lost all interest in it and the Sugni-TVS magic is now dead to us...can't even stand watching these two on screen...the romance has been killed...all in an effort to give us Aditya and Sugni?
I guess the writer was in love with this in her mind...it is her show...she has the right to do as she wishes...
