They fail to realize it is not the Actor but the characterization, any how you take it, he is still the nephew!!...
Also as the above post said , Sugni will now be no better that the rest of the bedini's in Amrita's eyes, just as Vickrram is no better than all the rest of the Thankurs in Gulabiya's eyes!!!

I mentioned earlier I would respond to each post...but I am going to cheat here and try to capture everything in one simple post...

Intially when the creatives were hinting at turning TVS grey, I was not against the idea..for me everyone has shades of grey...I thought, OK, he will be like JR in Dallas, or Nucky Thompson in Broadwalk Empire...a lead character you like, but also "love to hate." Mr. Rochester we loved, but he did deceive Jane Eyre.. To me a grey character is someone who is "bad" but not cruel to the ones he loves...

I became disillusioned and very upset with TVS when he brought forward the wedding date without even consulting with Sugni and with his wife still in the house. Just how could he do this, is beyond my comprehension. Then he is trying to entice her with some jewellery. She doesn't want expensive gifts nor an elaborate wedding, she just wants her mother to accept the relationship. He is definitely, as Laila puts it, no longer the man we used to adore. I don't even recognize the old TVS in this character the cvs are putting in front of us. I can't fathom why these people have to destroy one character just to bring up another. There are enough bad thakurs in that village so why can't there be aleast two good thakurs, Vikram and Adi to set things right. They shouldn't even have started this useless Reva track. It has led them nowhere. Every week the trp is going down. How are they going to come out of this complicated mess beats me. I really thought that this show was different from the others but I was proved wrong. So what now? Is it going to be TVs and his mad wife trying to lead a life. Is it that Adi gets married to Sugni to prove that he has done Sugni and G a big favor and that too at the expense of Amrita and definitely his mother's happiness. If Sugni marries Adi she'd be the worst monster alive especially after all that Amrita has done for her. And as for Adi's mom, she doesn't even accept Sugni-Vikram relationship how will she accept her son with this girl. How could G have Adi as her son in law when he is engaged to Amrita. The mother, daughter pair should just leave these messy thakurs and go to Delhi and start life afresh.
