WOW...my hats of to the writers, director and of course the amazing performances of Varun Badola, Gulki Joshi but MOST of all Narayani Shastri. What a delight it is to see more scenes between VB and NS - those two are powerhouses of acting exploding on the screen. The fireworks were awesome - their ability to deliever dialogues and express emotions were just amazing.
Naryani's protrayal of a mother desperate to protect her daughter was heart wrenching. Her begging, pleading and frustration were so beautifully conveyed. VB as the man who fears losing everything he loves so dear that he has to live a lie, who begs the mother of his wife to believe him that he does indeed love her daughter and was not a scroundral of a husband is so perfectly done. So good, that you simply don't want Sugni to find out the truth because you know he loves her dearly. However, at the same time you cannot help but feel sad for the pain he causes Gulabiya.
And finally, poor Sugni, touchingly protrayed by Gulki, is so caught between her mother whom she adores and places on a pedestal and the man she loves and respects. You cannot help but feel those strings pulled both ways only for one of those strings to break - along with her heart - when she finds out the truth.
Just an amazing episode that kept at the edge of your seat...looking forward to tomorrow where Gulabiya explodes on TVS...just so sad...just so sad. So is Gulabiya thinking that since he can't be faithful to the mentally ill wife he cannot be faithful to Sugni? I would have thought her fear was that he would keep her as his second wife...
LOVE this show...so glad to watch a show that is NOT a saas-bahu drama. Please writers..producers...give us shows with experienced actors in the main leads and not these newly found actors who take up screen time learning to act - Phir Subah Hogi tells you what a difference it makes😊

It will not happen...tomorrow Gulabiya will explode and Sugni will turn her back on her mother and go with TVS to his house. TVS, if very clever, will tell her to go with her mother but that will not happen...then, we will see how long it will take for the truth to be revealed...and when Sugni finds out...that's going to be an explosive episode.

Laila Great Post!!

I never knew it was possible for me to love a negative character. I always felt that if someone lies to you, you should let them go.

I know Vikram should have told the truth, but I still have so much compassion for him, because I see nothing but love for Sugni.
I keep thinking, love is supposed to be a bunch of things and honesty is one, but is there a straight and clear road for the Journey of love? Aren't we allowed mistakes and to be forgiven? I am not saying Vikram should be let off the hook easily, because there are consequences to not being honest, but should he be doomed forever? Are we right in Judging him so harshly? Even Gulabiya, never led a perfect life, no matter what the culture, she was a paid mistress to a married man and had a child with him, the biggest insult to any wife. Not because Gulabiya sees the errors of her life, does not mean she should so quickly judge Vikram without even hearing him out.

As I maintain always, Vikram must suffer somewhat for not being honest, but I don't think he deserves a permanent one.

Just my two cents.

Honestly, Vikram is starting to be creepier day by day and how many times are they going to show Gulabia making trips to RM? It's like the story is stuck in a loop. Hope they do something to revive VS's character before they go overboard and destroy it. I am beginning to dislike Vicky baba already

How insightful...perhaps she will realize that TJS actually loved her more than his wife...and when she realizes this and that he was not brave enough to be with her...perhaps then will she understand TVS and that is when she will help Sugni and TVS reunite...And you thought you were not a good writer😉
Plus Hillydee, I do like what you have written; I know TVS is wrong in what he is doing but he loves Sugni...he refuses to take advantage of her physically but oh, he is still so wrong to lie to her...but you can really sense his fear..he simply cannot and will not loose her. I cannot image his devastation when that happens. What a broken man we will see...you cannot help but feel for him.

It is indeed a delight for the writers to write so exceptionally well and for these 3 NS/VB/GJ to enact and perform using those scripts perhaps even better with right emotions, anger, fear, nervousness, worry, oozing out of them! ⭐️👏⭐️👏⭐️👏 I bow down to these three out of sheer admiration ! It's not just a treat for us viewers but an honor to watch them in awe and adoration 👏😃
BTW, earlier today I was planning to open a thread titled "Heart wrenching performance of Gulabiya" but couldn't get to it And here I see someone with "similar" thought process and much better vocabulary! Hats off to you too!! 👏
This serial has now become like an addiction that we can't do without every single day because of the way entire creative team is working so hard to make it into what we see on the screen, sitting on the edge of our seat, and me not even aware that my back is NOT even resting against the chair! Talk about lost in space, lost in Vikram/Gulabiya/Sugni world !🤔
Of course, there are suspenseful elements like showing the wife in the BG while G/Sug have their backs against her and Vikram holding his breath in anguish, and ending the epi with camera focused on all the 3 shocked faces, leaving viewers even more restless and anxious for the next one ! 😲
I was particularly impressed and in awe when Gulabiya screamed at Vikram, nostrils flaring, hands swinging ~ Jo insaan saat phere ka vachan nahi nibha sakta, woh saat janmo ka vachan kya nibhaayega! Wow wow wow! And Vikram couldn't even convince her properly when he said ~~ fate was not in his favor, only giving chance to G to retort back that ~ iss tarah ki gol gol baaton se sachhai nahi badal jaati, thakur maalik!
Yes, my sentiments exactly about tomorrow. It's going to be even more heartbreaking and a rude awakening when all eyes are towards an EMPTY room and Riwa nowhere in sight. I dont even want to imagine what kind of mixed expressions and pierced looks Sugni is going to portray, knowing the way she was getting pulled from both sides today, put so precariously in the middle of having to choose between the two people she loves the most.
I believe Gulabiya's fear is just one-dimensional. She can't see Sugni getting hurt, disillusioned and heartbroken, and the extent and the lengths to which G has gone to protect her from that happening, is mindblowing, mind-boggling.

Laila and hillydee great posts indeed. Poor Vikram, I'm sure he'd have told Sugni about his wife's re-appearance but things were happening so fast (Gulabia and her relentless attack on him) that he just lost his balance and maybe his mind. Poor TVS, he'll have to pay a price alright but please let's us not be too harsh with him. His only fault is that he has fallen head over heels with this lovely, innocent girl and just wants to be with her. Hope cvs are not planning to damage his character and bring Adi in as superman hero. I'm getting a bit nervous thinking about this. I'll always love my Sugvi

Laila great post and completely agree with you. This show is what it is due to varun narayani and gulki's acting.
Yesterday was Narayani all the way. She was outstanding as a desperate mother trying to save her child.
Vikram for the first time today was not his usual self but looked terrified and scared of loosing sugni.
Finally sugni a smart girl who chose both vikram and gulabia not hurting any of tgem.

Great Acting by all and as you said glad to watch such a show sans saas bahu ya trip catch romance shows.
