Do you think TVS should shed a few pounds?

Lately I've noticed that our TVS played by Varun Bodola had been gaining. In today's episode poor TVS looked like he was about to explode in his white kurta.

Agreed to some extent but not lately when PSH was aired.

VB himself is only in his mid-30s. He's younger than all three Khans by nearly 10 years, so why has he allowed himself to look so much older? It's certainly not for the part. I hope someone drops a hint to VB and tell him that it would help him. He's starting to look like Sugni's father and not a potential lover.

He dosen't look older. He looks his age and if he looks like Sugni's father as you say u should read comments on forum everybody is going ga-ga over Sugvi and wants to be paired with him rather than adi so kuch tho hoga bande mei and that is his ACTING. I don't have to comments much on this u can yourself judge between the two leads.

(and rid himself of the double chin) by shedding some pounds

Frankly speaking i didn't notice till now kya kare banda ita damal hai ki unke aav-bhav aur expression mei ko jate hai. Will notice henceforth though it won't make much of a difference. Anyway i think he will work on it if the show demands after-all he is perfectionist.

He is Thakur Vikram Singh in the show aur kurta mei shoe i don't think it goes well. Next time I have to keep a watch on other thakur or even adi if he wears kurta what they wear as footwear.

Varun is 1974 born. His weight is slightly high but he looks too handsome now also

Wont mind if he losse little weight ...he will look more fit .

But that man acting is so good that i have ignored other aspect ...he look fab in white kurta . He def look good with sugini as she dont look sweet 16 , her face reflect maturity...old enough to be paired with varun.

This is first time i am enjoying acting & story ..as i always seen glittering clothes , good body of lead & same story of eyelock & keeping there face expression same ... I must say varun acting & stroy of psh is that good that i am not able to take my eyes on his belly , chin 😛😆

while on that ... why dont they stop applying that horrendous shade of lipstick for him ? in some scenes his lips look as if he has had an overdose of pomegranate...

totally agree with Rupa.. suguni doesnt look 16 and he matches her well.. but the weight reduction ( all over) was for his own ... otherwise some abs great acting from Varun...

@geetruk06. the photo ID used - Y'day i remembered MR when the fight scene was going on. MR was an awesome actor too. Loved him in LTL.

Ya i would also love if he loses some weight.

I was thinking to myself watching yesterday's epidose.."Thakur needs to go on a diet!" I don't know what made that pop into my head but it did.
NOt six-pack abs but loosing a few pounds would definitely help and from a health perspective be better for Varun as well (prevention is better than cure as we say here!)
Having said that, they still look good together, the acting, the chemistry , all fabulous!
On a side note : Yes those curly slippers are UGLY😆 and I think that is his (Thakur's Vickram Singh's)favorite pair, cause when he is not in loafers that is what he is constantly wearing .!

Thanks for the feedback guyys. Let us hope someone lets VB know in the nicest way possible that it would help him to shed a few pounds for himself and the actor. He's an attractive guy but his weight gain is working to his disadvantage especially at certain camera angles (which I see the director using less and less) he's ending up with a double chin. Also the director has stopped doing side angles of TVS because his stomach potrudes. As the epsidoes have continued, the weight gain, especially on his face, has become more pronounced. I think it would be to his advantage as it would give him back some of his youthfulness. Not sure how or why he gained it as he has always been incredibliy slim in his other shows. Age and perhaps certain medications and of course a very health appetite are factors.
