honestly i did not like the idea when suggestions were made to mail Zee or Cv's to make TVS positve etc..i mean we should be patient and not interfere with the CV's thought process...

I think we should all be patient and wait for the story to develop more. PSH started only 2 months ago. It's not even crossed 100 episodes. The story is building up to a big climax, SugVi's marriage.

This Jane Eyre plot is more about Vikram and not Sugni. But I am not interested in Vikram's secrets. I am watching to know how a bedia woman refuses to accept what society says and is successful.

But I don't agree that the story is cliched. How will Vikram turning grey or black be unique? That is equally predictable. So many TV serials and films have shown such characters. Nothing new for Indian audience.

The CVs may have changed the story from Adi-Sugni to Vikram-Sugni. But if it helps the show, why not? I don't think Adi's character has the same strength as Vikram's. May be Adi will become the hero in the 4th or 5th month but by then audience will be gone. They have to show who is the hero within 1 or 2 months. Looks like the audience liked Vikram over Adi. We can't say people watching the programme on TV are not mature or don't like complicated stories. People will like a story that is told well and acted well. If they have liked Vikram -Sugni there must be a reason. People watching on TV are not only watching for romance. There are lot of women and older people also watching.

I do agree that good actors like JT are being sidelined. That is not good. Good actors should be given more screen time. But it is too early to say PSH is disappointing. I would give another 2 months before I say that. May be it will become disappointing because of the way TV serials are usually. But I am going to wait.

Personally, I prefer stories that show people continuing to be honest in spite of difficulties. I don't want grey. There is enough grey and black in the world. That's not interesting to watch. I want to see how a person can be good and also win.

The problem with the show is they rushed the romance between Sugni and TVS because they did not originally plan for them to be a couple. This was a poor move on their part because this hit jodi would have benefited from more scenes of these two getting to know each other over time. The focus on the struggle of the Bedni(s) and there could have been more shown such as TVS trying to bring in a business for the women who were interested in leaving this lifesytle and Sugni being a part of the women who motivated them...and in due course him falling for her and vice versa...You could have ad mirch masala with people trying to kill them both, a kidnapping, threats etc. Not getting the business deals - anything...Even TVS taking Sugni to the city to try to get contractors - and romance developing...and him showing her city life. And of course more scenes between these two arguing with each other. Now we see a rona dona Sugni and as you so well pointed out an insecure and troubled TVS. That's not new.

I would have MUCH rather preferred a TVS who saw Sugni as a means to get back at TJS and over due course realize that he was in love with her. A Sugni betrayed and used who seeks vegence against a man who has fallen for her would have been more interesting to watch...

Good point. The story could have taken a little slow pace. It is going at jet speed. That is why I think there is going to be a big crash. Vikram and Sugni will have to start all over again. Only Reva Manzil and mad wife cannot keep it going for PSH. It didn't work for Sapnon ke bhanwar mein. Audience is interested in Vikram-Sugni, not Vikram's past. So the CVs wll soon have to move in the way you have suggested.

It is important to understand that constructive criticism does mean you appreciate when you actually find something noteworthy and do have the will to express freely when you dislike...Nothing biased about that.The question here is NOT whether TVS love is genuine,Whether GREY BLACK WHITE..The question here is there is a COMPLETE discrepancy in the character DEVELOPMENT of TVS from what they begun with...

MM - I am all for a fast moving show but I do believe that more scenes and a slower pace - not slower scenes of the romance could have helped the show. I see what you mean in that you want to see a strong and confident TVS - the kind we all chose to like in the first place.

I don't get how Vikram is not on to Dhanuma. Makes no sense. Earlier, he knew Dhanuma just didn't care enough to give Sugni a job, and he didn't care too much. But now, why does Dhanuma think she can get away with this?

Piu you can criticize and this threads are for dicussing pros and cons of the show characters without bashing anyone otherwise we are like a chamcha mehfil here doing wah wah where it is not needed 4th July's episode brought out some of those intense obsessive feelings of TVS not the puppy love and very well potrayed by Varun

As for writing to the CVs somehow my personal feeling is they dont really much care except for the faulty system of TRPs (which I agree is a show killer and could be rigged and 8000 households ruling the India tv world dont know when the new policy will come to force) The more we write to them they sometimes come with nastier tracks and that kills the shows
Lets see whether they keep this show unique or get into the run of the mill tracks.

Likarsh they did have a signature tune o re piya but it is no more playing😆😉 in the recent episodes
