Is this Love?A question left unanswered!UPDATED

But what if those steps are leading you to darkness?What a beautiful crescendo to the tension built up since yesterday.The tiny steps of Sugni reminds me of how an innocent girl who had dreams of her knight in shining armour ,fell prey to the charms and deceptive flamboyance of a man who seems to be deeper that what he appears at his surface. The confidence with which Vikram opened his arms and the slow yet uncertain, steady yet anxious , flowing yet hesitant steps of Sugni set your heart racing a mile every passing second ready to explode any moment.The nearness yet hesitation raised several questions in my mind'.

1.Was Sugni really in love?

2.What was stopping her from running into his arms..Shyness or hesitation or uncertainity

The answers lie in the questions itself.If we really delve upon the question that what might be possible reasons for this delay then we end up with lots of speculations .All these might have had a cumulative effect on her delay.

'There might be hesitation of bridging the gap between a man and a woman in love..Another possibility may be that there exists a huge gap between them..Not only literally but metaphorically and figuratively too..The age gap'The gap of strata of society and the gap of gender and above all the gap of different ideologies'What is intriguing in this scene is the fact that we do not see even an iota of shyness or smile on Sugni's face.There was more of a confusion ,more hesitation on her face rather than blush which would have otherwise supposed to be on the face of a girl in love.

The hesitation was wonderfully potrayed by Gulki'.Such a wonderful actress .And Vikram with his air of superiority confidently closing his eyes in anticipation of what he had imagined it to be.

"He it is who puts his enchantment upon these eyes and joyfully plays on the chords of my heart in varied candence of pleasure."

The final eyelock says it all..The fluttering eyelids of a nervous girl touched and swept by the tender feeling of first love are starkingly and contrastively projected against those two enchanting deceiving eyes filled with attraction 'Eyes of Thakur that are obliquely set half opened giving a dreamy effect fixing his gaze on his prey..Ahhh who cannot fall for his charms'Again a brilliant piece of acting by Varun and Gulki.Both of them amaze me with their capabilities outgrowing themselves every passing episode .They are raising the standards day by day not only for our Beloved POPAT but even for themselves.

Then finally her gradual progress towards submission where Vikram is still waiting with his outstretched arms ,for her love to give herself in them.

BTW I guess your hearts must have too hammered under your bosoms like mine imagining WHAT NEXT?And BAMM tada Enters dhanuma disrupting the moment👏.

The scene which appeared as an interruption in the union might have been perceived with different sense too.For me the outstretched arms of Vikram ,the slow walk of Sugni and the final failure of her SURRENDER leaving Vikarm 's arms opened without her all suggest that Sugni though had taken those tiny steps and had gradually been lured by the trap of Vikram yet at the last moment she will definitely emerge as a winner leaving Vikram alone, left with nothing but emptiness in his hands. No matter how much he tries but his web of illusion might befool her for some time but DESTINY will have other plans for her too.

The look that witch Dhanuma gives is very irritating but right at that moment I wanted to go and give Dhanuma a HUG for thwarting the blind leap of faith.😆

Then we have an interesting family scene where we see that big frog eyes Hukum ki wife the chameleon trying to be sugary sweet.😡.I wanted a huge stick to beat her double standards😡 ..The little tease was interesting and Sugni is lost in her own world

"When the creation was new and all stars shone in their first splendour,the gods held their assembly in the sky and sang 'Oh the picture of perfection! The joy unalloyed'

The shy smile on Sugni's face while she was lost in her own bubble of happiness where she has this picture perfect world of her own induces a tug in your heart giving you chill imagining what would be her little heart's condition when it will be crushed brutally by Vikram.At this juncture I remember Gulabiya's words that '"Abhi sab kachu naya naya hai na'.isliye sab acah lag raha hai''

Yes indeed in the vast expanse of the sky of her imagination ,Sugni has created a beautiful canopy of starry dreams twinkling in hope which gives her an illusion of hope and light.

Then we see how Sugni asks Katar's wife to tell her about the moment she fell in love?Whether there were steps or it was a moment.It is pretty shocking and interesting too that we still see what Gulabiya fears.Indeed Sugni does not know what love is 'that's why her re-confirmation of the matters of the heart .Also equally appalling is the fact that she is merely Vikram's words.Ahh the effect he has on her

"Love comes when manipulation stops; when you think more about the other person than about his or her reactions to you. When you dare to reveal yourself fully. When you dare to be vulnerable."

If only Vikram's love was true But sadly there are enough hints that it isn't.True love can only come when one stops manipulating becomes your priority,When one actually reveals one's true self ..but sadly for Vikram his love is but only a manipulation,his concern is only how to get her and his true self is masked beneath his goodness.

Gulabiya listening to all the tease yet not amused makes you realise her worry as a amother.

Also one interesting facet is that when her mami replies that she knew in a single instant when she fell in love 'Sugni just cuts short her statement that '"Jab apko unhone CHUA tha'"

A very dangerous hint indeed.I was actually shocked to hear that.It pulled me back to the dance scene where Vikram enticed and seduced her physically.I was a little disturbed too at how can she equate that touch to be a part of realisation.This brought me face to face with the fact that indeed that seduction has left a deep impression in her.I was perturbed at the whole aspect of PHYSICALITY being a part of her realisation..But then re-thinking made me realise that Sugni was only 18 a teenager..Untouched by any man'.It is an impressionable age when dreams appear as reality. There arelot of different emotions including attraction to the opposite sex specially physically due to the surge of hormones inducing a FEEL GOOD factor and creating a UTOPIA for you '.Where everything seems perfect,..Everything seems dreamy 'The effect of his touch too has induced a different feeling in her heart ..It was like the final threshold to let the waves of admiration ,respect already emerging in heart to cross the dam of reason and flow ruthlessly .The more I ponder over it..The more I am becoming sure that Sugni is echoing Vikram and is not in TRUE LOVE.It is like a passing amorous fancy of a teenage girl.So we see Sugni as a fascinated teenager believed to be in love .

Who thought that every women shud take lessons from Tinkaliya who is a big dhindhora and exactly knows what love is.The pan sharing and the lipstick bits were funny .I could imagine Creepy leech Hukum with his irritating smile sharing a pan with his equally cunning chudail wife..I was in splits.

Finally we also see Gulabiya and her pain when asked about her love..Ahhh you have to give it to narayani for the SUPERB expression!! I am to her BIG PANKHA now.👏

"Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths."

Finally coming to the mother daughter convo..Again I was amazed by the acting potetntial of Naraayni in the way she reprimands her daughter👏 .Gulabiya is one strong and logical woman'She might have lost but her strength comes from the sheer fact that she has struggled a lot.We see Sugni is strong in her belief..in her dreamland where she imagines everything to be PERFECT .

But One cried of a sudden 'It seems somewhere there is a break in the chain of light and one of the stars lost"

The way Gulabiya brings her back to reality breaking the chain of her brightly lit starry dreams ,She not only infuses sense in her but we see that her question does make Sugni ponder as well.The concern was so evident..She agreed that ..OK FINE agreed he is a nice man But what NEXT?Will he MARRY you?It leaves many unanswered questions .Both for us And Sugni too

"He it is who weaves the web of this maya in evanescent hues of gold and silver; blue and green,and lets peep out through the folds his feet ,at whose touch I forget myself…"

Vikram has indeed weaved a beautiful maya jaal a web luring Sugni with its dazzling coloured dreams not forgetting to mention that through the folds of this web the only part visisble to Sugni is his feet …which appears like those who have to be worshipped….So though a part of Sugni is lured by the colourful hues of the fake dreams..another part of her is definitely drawn to this whole Demi God like status of Vikram.

The next scene where he grabs Sugni's arms almost dragging her ,we see a little hesitation in Sugni's eyes…I must say that the last night's conversation has indeed left a deep impact in her mind arousing questions and concerns.

What follows is hilarious. Ahhh If Only I had STML(Short term memory loss) and I could erase those last two episodes that I would have called that the anxiety in love.

Varun's expressions were hilarious and those tiny details of disappointment ,annoyance, smirk and his manipulation of Amrita to leave them alone was EXCELLENT!!Kudos to Varun!! Such a great actor.

What struck me in the first scene was the use of the word SHIKAAR by Vikram..Like it was absolutely out of the blue..or was it REALLY Vikram views Sugni as his SHIKAAR or catch…We are yet to see.

There was a glint of GENUINE love in his eyes…My question is why is it so?He looked definitely like a cute adorable teenager waiting desperately for the confession of his GF.Yes it was that CUTE…

But again the question arise what is the reason for this different shade again?

I figured out some following reasons which might be a possibility of Vikram's such behaviour.

1.Maybe the CV's are very smart indeed and are playing with us ,Keeping Vikram's character under wraps to build the interest generating curiosity confusing the viewers.Ahh the ENIGMA… named Vikram..This even makes his character more fascinating.

2. Is this love?This question remains unanswered for Vikram too….The day Vikram laid his eyes upon Sugni he was clearly fascinated..in fact bowled over the spunk,the charms ,the free spirit of Sugni…He clearly did fall for her …She generated Curiosity in him..Her untamed spirit..Her defiance to the evil practices ,her dreams,her enthusiasm in spite of her life being in doldrums clearly did attract Vikram.We also see that he was clearly smitten by her ,coz who then watches a slide show of a bedni in the middle of the night in a closed room.But can we really equate 'BEING CHARMED' by someone ' TO BEING IN LOVE'.

Well as I have always maintained that For Vikarm Sugni is like that untamed wild river which he wants to confine within his boundaries.She is like a challenge for him to conquer..To GAIN HER MIND ,HEART,BODY AND SOUL AND lure her into COMPLETE SURRENDER.

Now whether this feeling to CONQUER Sugni can be equated with LOVE?

With this the question which does arise is WHAT IS TRUE LOVE? Love has many forms and What it seems at this point of time that Vikram really is wanting to POSSESS her .Hence the anxiety ,the restlessness.And will this anxiety and restlessness grow into a dirty OBSESSION or he has other ulterior motives?We are yet to see.

Well a more interesting facet which was clearly manifested in the next scene is that Vikram really has a GENUINE concern for Adi ..The way his brow creases and he jumps out of the jeep saying Adi clearly shows that This Mama bhanja do share a close bond .We have earlier also seen that Adi too revers him a lot and they both share a very close bond.

It would be really interesting to see how this bond is strengthened or severed due to the shift in dynamics between Vikram Sugni or Adi Sugni…I must say A BRILLIANTLY CRAFTED SCRIPT!!Daring to be different!

One more thing is evident that Amu will clearly be the one who will be a means to throw Adi-Sugni together and DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY Adi will be a saviour for Sugni.

The way Sugni looks back at Vikram while driving off with Adi itself manifests that the words of Gulabiya are indeed haunting her and she wants to clear her doubt ASAP.

Next is the Adi-Sugni scene….I am apalled. .I am angry….How can someone actually SLEEPWALK without any expression or voice modulation when you are given a scene with a huge panorama of emotions.ALAS the actor fails again and makes a BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN SCENE looks MUNDANE AND YAWN WORTHY.So many emotions..Hurt ,desperation..his promise to his mother…Everything just wasted.Even the BG voice was monotonous…No modulation as such..REALLY CV's Was this THE BEST ACTOR you could get when the scenes demand so much from him.

Storywise the scene brought out so many things …Sugni in future may be a halp for Adi and Adi though unwillingly or unknowingly does listen to the advice of Sugni about calling Sita maiyaa for help.[The transition was very badly executed by the actor].

So in short a very WELL WRITTEN and fast paced Episode with the action shifting from VS slowly to AS.Both of them being given equal footage .So WHAT NEXT? We have to wait and see how Vikram answers Sugni's queries and how she confesses love ?Well LOVE IS IT ?The question certainly remains unanswered. Both for SUGNI AND VIKRAM.

That's how i felt... Sugni is being swept by a force greater than her - a force born from respect, admiration, awe and adoration... that can easily be mistaken for love by a young girl. A young girl who feels gratefulness, an impressionable young girl who has never felt the stirrings of physical attraction. Hope she does not mistake the mix of adoration, respect and admiration AND physical attraction for love.

I don't know why I still feel that the love bit is real, for Vikram. He definitely loves Sugni. But love is very different for him. For him, love also means a conquest. He has lost himself in thinking about Sugni. Only her telling him that she is also equally lost will make him feel better. He knows she feels that way and wants to hear it.

But what he doesn't understand is that she feels that way only because he told her so. And when she realises that she actually does not love him the way he loves her, he is going to be very hurt. And may be that is when he will become negative or grey.

And the reason why Vikram does not understand that Sugni will soon know the truth, is because he does not know Gulabiya. I think Vikram will eventually try to hurt Gulabiya and that's when we will see JT again.

I am missing JT. Such a good actor. Wish we could see more of him than you-know-who. 😡

About the hug, I also feel the same way. Vikram will not be able to own Sugni physically as he is planning to. She will be saved, may be even by Dhanu maa but she will escape. He will not get what he wants. Not now anyway.

Amrita is digging her own grave. Always putting Adi and Sugni together. More than Vukram's betrayal, I will find it hard to watch Amrita being betrayed by Adi and Sugni.

I also feel the twist will be what we didn't expect like what you just describe in Sugni baby step to hugging Vik. You're right this how close Vik get to having it all and it just slip through his fingers that quickly.

I don't know if was a game that Vik was playing or not but whatever it is the man is trapping himself more then Sugni and that is what is going to make TVS lose his senses. Today actually for the first time post confession I saw something genuine in Vik eyes for Sugni and instead of it being Sugni head over heels is Vikram and that make's me love it even more.

Gosh Sugni & Vikram romantic or not don't bother me cause when these two together in that scene even with others around my focus is on them only. Even with no words they emote there expression so well and Vik being the typical man when he doesn't get his way was too funny. 😆

I'm ready to see Sugni & Thakur Vikram Singh face off 😍

the angst gosh I can't wait.

I skip Popat & Sugni scenes there was no need to here his grunting at Sugni for trying to help him
