I didnt mind your juicy tidbit at all. It was very enlightening to say the least 😆. Yes Nissar does know more about MehBeer divorce that Abeer himself. What is really worrying me though is Kuber contribution to the divorce. Kuber pankhi in me had very high hopes of him being instrumental in the divorce. But makers are hell bent on giving credit to Tayi ji and Nissar😡. Can it be that Kuber Malhotra is all bark and no bite? I hope not.
It was all in good fun! 😆
I don't actually think they had that kind of history... just the silly thoughts that randomly popped into my head while watching the episode. We do have a history of suspecting older characters of such colorful acts, and old habits die hard. 😉
Aw, man, I hadn't even thought about how this compromises Kuber's reputation as a baddie on the show, but I do think it's true that he is all bark and no bite. If he had any bite in him, he should have turned Abeer out years ago to learn how to stand on his own two feet. On the one hand, he keeps taunting Abeer about his "failures" but on the other hand, he hasn't really done anything to teach Abeer to be different, gently or harshly, and continues to keep him in the lap of luxury.
But that for me is what makes his character so complex. At the same time he has such a weakness for his son, but is so bitter about how he turned out. I think he is scared to allow Abeer his independence. If Abeer had followed in his footsteps, he could have taken care of him all his life, but Abeer has chosen his own path, both in terms of career and love and Kuber is petrified of letting him go and letting him grow... because then Abeer won't need him anymore. It's kind of amazing, actually, the fear that he is passing on to Abeer may well be the fear that is closest to his heart... that people don't need him for anything but money!
