I paused and saw the documents. The shares were owned by him. I think those are the shares that Kuber has kept for Abeer so instead of using it for himself, he sold it for Meher's sake.

It may seem nonsensical but I think that's the point... Abeer doesn't understand Meher's pride as well as he thinks. It also fits with in with the context of them getting a divorce-- obviously they had serious issues in their marriage. If Abeer was doing this kind of stuff, only with the best of intentions of course, it would drive Meher nuts. 😆

They were his shares... May he bought it... Plus he do have a right on everything that kuber owns. Only heir. Nothing mattered to help at that time, the most important thing was to help meher and save her house. He had to save meher and he did it. Now he will be definitely taunted and insulted by his father... Poor abeer...
