Hypocrite society, Abeer's dialogue

Actually yesterday's epi was quite realistic from society's perspective. Those women who always want to poke their nose into other's affairs and pass on comments just to hurt others really really exist. Any function you go, you have a bunch waiting there just to spoil the mood. They just cant see one person happy and the moment they get something to taunt them they do it. Here we go the ladies telling Meher's fate is like her mother, her dad left Suman and Abeer had left Meher. Still they keep coming and going.
It was such a thing that stinged, no wonder Suman was hurt. But it was good that Meher and bua stopped Suman firmly from going for the Aarti. Suman needs to speak. Don't know when she will speak.
And Abeer I loved the way he answered back those ladies. Where are your husband's. But then the society lives on stereotypes. As we see the discussion going on.
Now coming to the way Abeer defended Suman from Shyam. Is ghar ka beta. I really really loved him for that. Yes Meher can call him ex-husband. But it is for Suman and Abeer to decide what their relation is. It is only connected with Meher or they have a relation independent of Meher. There are many homes where woman are exploited saying mard nahi hain. Should a name sake Pati take care of such a home, or a person who for some reasons treat that family as his own should get the chance.
Abeer very much loves and respects Suman and according to me he has every right to stand up for the woman who he treats at par with his mother.

Well said. Can't agree better.
Abeer once again proved that he deserves all due respect, can't help but fall in love with him.

Hello namesake!
I completely agree. Jobless women have nothing better to do than bitch about other people's problems. Abeer burnt them in the best way possible (and hilariously).
Also Abeer today was at the epitome of his maturity. Defending Suman and Meher and showing Shyam his real place in the family. Despite all that he's been through with Meher, he never puts her down. He always sees her as the strong, independent woman she is and makes sure others know that too. And you can always see how much he loves and respects Suman as his own mother. It makes me so happy to see that their relationship hasn't gone sour even though the reason for its origin has.
Your posts are always so insightful, another amazing one!

Bang on...
It's good to highlight the backbiting attitude which the society shows to just anything...good or bad...they just blabber on not knowing the reality of it...
Shyam is shameless to the core...i Mean just for some money he would bend down to such low techniques is unimaginable...Meher knows to keep him in his limits...

Abeer protecting his mummyji was so sweet...the way he explained to Shyam was like a slap on the face for him...
