Ya actually! yesterday his reaction with malvi (thats abeer's mum's name right?) seemed one of genuine anger rather than him trying to untruthfully establish meher as a gold digger. and the outburst was out of genuine concern for his son. so i do think he believes that meher just wanted an alimony. but you never know with serials.
