"Phir Bhi Na Maane Badtameez Dil" is fairly new to the daily soap scene and yet it enjoys a strong fan base. The lead actors - Pearl V Puri and Asmita Sood - who play the roles of Abeer and Meher, respectively, have caught the viewers attention.

Only 40 episodes into the show and they have fans going crazy about the lead pair's chemistry on social media. However, Tellychakkar has put down a few reasons why they make for such an intriguing pair.

Both Meher and Abeer are strong-willed and independent, which is a refreshing departure from the saas-bahu drama viewers are continuously fed with. Also, they have a past together that brings in an angle of mystery, therefore creating a different love-hate relationship. To top all of this off, there's soothing music that binds the characters together.

While their onscreen interactions might be fiesty, off it they share great friendship, which makes their chemistry more interesting.

Interestingly, talking about their first meeting to Deccan Chronicle, both the actors said how it wasn't overly dramatic adding that they wanted to get it over with and begin shooting.
