Why is Abeer staying at Meher's house ?

As can be seen from the promo, Abeer is going to come and stay at Meher's house so the question is why is he there.
My guess is this has something to do with that MLA and his goon that Meher has run into at the Mall. I think they will try to harass Meher/her family and Meher's mom will be worried for her safety. She will go and ask Abeer to help which is why he will come over and stay at Meher's house till this is sorted out. 🤔
