I feel bad about Priyanka missing her mom (I lost mine about 7 years ago and I still miss her badly). However, Priyanka has two elder sisters who seem to have strong motherly instinct towards her. I would assume they raised her and still baby her. Therefore, though I understand Priyanka's need for a mom (in-law), she just couldn't have been deprived as much as she displays (and yes, this gets her sympathy votes)

On the day 1 even I was very moved but later saw how her siblings pamper her which is why her mom obsession seems a bit overplayed.

How many times does she have to ask Rajbir as to how much he loves her? That too in front of the camera? She can do all that baby talk in private. I don't think its helping her case in front of Rajbir's dad and Tau

Do you feel her sisters are so much older than her to actually fill in mother's place. I believe Pri mentioned she lost her mother when she was young. She never knew the word mom.

I have a younger sister. And I baby her. My mom says I am like her mother. But it is not the same. It doesn't even come close. I don't think her mother obsession is overplayed at all. To be honest even when I really disliked her I wondered why doesn't she mention her mother issue more.

I beg to differ. I know no one can take a mother's place but an older sister usually has a motherly instinct towards her younger siblings and in Priyanka's case, especially more because the sisters were aware that Priyanka missed out on knowing her mother.

A few of my friend's moms show me motherly affection and that definitely helps a lot.
