1) i really dont get it, why is eliminating your competition considered evil here.....I mean if the other couple really love each other, they will get married outside the show...so its not a moral factor about breaking someone's jodi....

2) The real competition remains between two couples. Obviously anyone who gets the advantage of winning the task or becoming BOW/MOW, will try to save himself and his jodi and remove competition, so that they win. Fairness of this competition does not really lie in giving away the title to the other one out of charity...its simply that if you win the task or votes, eliminate the one who is not meant for you, instead of being charitable to the other one!

So whats this hue and cry about saving the other jodi, instead of your own ....? Why is charity being equated to fairness here?

  • its termed 'stooping low' because this is between choosing rumpa or gurpreet to eliminate and if gurpreet has noone as opposed to rumpa who has someone and is ready for marriage..THEN it becomes unfair to break up a couple when theres gurpreet whos just wasting time by bein on the show
  • and he would stoop low if he decided to keep gurpreet and eliminate rumpa because he doesnt want to play fair
  • now if it was between raj-pri and hit-rumpa then obviously its perfectly okay for him to eliminate rumpa cause how else is he goin to win

Gurpreet being on the show is channel's decision, not his decision,, whatever reason the channel brought her back for, why should he be bothered by the fact that Gurpreet needs to go/stay...whether she is single or not.

he is there to win, and if he does not use his power to support his winning, in all due fairness..some-one else will use his/her power in the next episode..and that would be plain stupidity to be a victim of that......

No rule ever said that the task-winner should use his power to eliminate singles on the show. Breaking some-one's jodi by creating misunderstandings between is unfair...but there is nothing wrong in using your winning tasks to your advantage , to eliminate someone who most probably will eliminate you in the next episode if he wins......

And in the end its only one couple who wins 25 lakhs...rest all have to go, whether they are a couple or not........why should he give away 25 lakhs in charity...why should he think that Hit-rumpa should stay till the last just because they are a couple.....what a funny logic!

Hima_123: You eloquently stated your opinion! ⭐️
Bottomline, the couple that wins the title is given the opportunity to celebrate their marriage on the show. This is a competition with incentives awarded to the winning team.
Losing the title of PB does not signify a permanent breakup in the relationship of the other couple. If their love is firmly rooted, the runners-up of the show will marry in a private ceremony that is untelevised. As consenting adults, both couples have equal legal rights to be married whether it is televised or not.

have you seen the show at all? every week the person that is eliminated is a single person or a confused person that cant choose between 2 ppl...jodi's arent torn apart without valid reasons on the show
so yes he should be bothered if its a jodi he is breaking up or eliminating a single girl
besides if you believe that its okay for him to break a couple apart just to win then i term it dirty play
i personally would never tear a jodi apart if the option was a jodi or a bunch of singles...i personally wont eliminate the competition unless all the weak players are out and then its a true win on whoever that does win
its not charity if the official showdown is 2 jodis for the win...than 1 jodi and 1 single chick
and thats just my POV

I understand your point. However, as far as I am aware, there are no official rules that dictate that jodis cannot not be voted out. At this stage in the game, it is a matter of strategy and outwitting your competition to win the show and avail the opportunity to marry in a televised ceremony and win a cash prize.
We must also take into account that eliminating the competition does not signify a permanent breakup in the relationship of the runners-up of the show. They can marry in an untelevised ceremony. Both couples are consenting adults who have equal legal rights to be married whether they win the show or not.

i realize that either couple can marry outside the show...but thats not the point..the point is that the showdown should be between 2 jodis because thats only fair not because its down in some rule book somewhere
those are just my morals and you have your own

I have seen the show...and I have seen Sudesh Rani eliminating so called "jodis" of other guys stating that she did not see those girls as her "BAHU RANI"....she nominated dear priyanks...while Rajdeep was very much on the show..... and just because sudesh Rani ji stated some diplomatic statements in few episodes...why should it become a code of conduct for others?

Infact if some-one cannot use his winning points to win....it is a stupid move on his / her part!

I am really curious to know how will the jodi be torn aprt (as you put it?), if they do not remain on the show?? Please specify it for me!! How is it immoral or un-ethical (Perhaps taking the chance of 25 lakhs away from the couple is what you call immoral).......??

And why should rajbeer not eliminate someone who he absolutely does not see as his future partner...... !!!

I think its the channels format that should decide that the showdown needs to be between jodis or individuals... its not the contestants job to decide the final format....Fairness for a contestant is about sticking to the rules and not using unethical ways like instigating, creating misunderstandings etc.
