Fake word is very rarely used in the west. Actually I have never heard anybody use ' fake' for a human being. It is used for art (fake copy) etc. All Human beings are original, nobody on this earth can create a fake human being.
People may not reveal their true self or they may be role playing and dishonest but they cannot be fake.
