Even if Vivek is moma's boy , what's wrong in this.
Mother is the is the first person in anyone's life and she is there until the end. Her love is so unconditional.
All the girls who are critising Vivek of being Moma's boy , I would like to ask them only one question that tomorrow if you have a boy child and he does not care for you, will you like it ?
I find Vivek very caring , loving and respectful towards his mom and after watching Sunday's episode I'm more fond of him now.
I believe that if a person cannot become close to mother with whom he spends his / her first 20-25 years of lifetime, the person cannot be trustworthy or faithful to anyone.

Dressing style is reflection of bringing up, not just mom's but dad also. He will look like his mom if he keeps on going the way he is Vivek is pretty soft muscles for his age. 31 years is very young to have such soft body. He has to get out of his charter accounting seat and walk or work out.

Are we really going to discuss petty issues like the parent's influence on the child's diet or dressing style? My dressing sense doesn't match my moms. Neither does my sister. My mom's dressing style doesn't match her moms. I have seen more kids disagree with their parent's sense of style rather than agree and incorporate it to their wardrobe.
Diet is important. But given that Vivek is a grown man I would hope at some age he would start caring for himself. His mom explained before he loves food. Given that both of them are overweight it could be a genetics problem too. Since you love to explore all the options.
I really care about how the mom molds her children's character. After today's incident it really seems as if Sudehrani hasn't done a good job.

Parents raise their kid for selfless reason, they were raised and they raise their own..they make their children capable for raising their own family one day. That is the biggest reward..
Problem is that one day an adult by or a girl has to break the umbrical cord to make room for others in their life for close relationship.
If boys or girls just stay extremely attached to their first family they will have no energy or closeness to put into their own family or even build their own family.
The role of partent is to make sure their kid became good adults and then fly away and form their own families not to smother them with such closeness in their adult lives that they cannot form their own identy and their own close relationships. If boy is momma's boy, he has no room for wife..same goes for girls if they are too close to their dad their is no room for husband. When kid become adults the close bond is loosened to make room for other very close bond.
I have seen lots of momma's boys whose wifes are miserable, the part which wife should have is taken up by mom.

agree with april 😊 I think you need the right balance. One shouldn't forget about parents because he has to listen to his wife. he should always respect them, take care of them and love them. The term momma's boy is used when nothing comes before mom and mom's word is final. That can create huge problems when the guy is married.

First of good dress is part of the package of who u are..? It is not pretty nor trivial, what is inside is reflected on outside..your dressing up reveals your inside...
I disagree with genetic part..although good genes are also part of package..good genetic material is also a good marriage material...I have not seen poor people in India fat..what happened to their fat genes.
I don't think child is just influenced by mom, it is mom and dad and surroundings. Just blaming mom shows how far Indian society has to go towards gender equality. Boys brought up by moms alone grow up to sissies, male role model is very very import in children's life.
