Friends,
I watch PB on and off and fail to realise what is the fuss all about. Apart from a plain voyeuristic interest what does the show have to offer:
garish make up outlandish hair styles without make up sleepy faces so called young men and women who seem to have anothing better to do with thier lives in a post recession emerging world economy endless hugs of an assortment of women hugging each other comperes who cant speak a word before declare that they are the brothers of the world ...what ever happened to the word "professional" distance a mentor who dresses in frills and just asks one liner questions (kya aap sehmat hain, kya aap khush hai, kya chemistry hai) a mentor who dresses in Maharaja styleclothes and is trying hard to be funny and intelligent, thereby coming up with dialogues to the guys like "kuch to karo"
  • and the last mentor who is partly good, when she is not showing off her curves or calves and finding fault with friendships.
Phew,😆😆 what is the perfect thing in any of these brides😕. After so many episodes at least I am still clueless.
Apart from Gaurav (level headed, qualified, has an aim in life regarding his career, and is attractive in a very urbane way) and to an extent the first girl who got out (decent, had a mind of her own and was very dignified despite being thrown off without knowing anyone), I wonder what anyone would want to do with any other of them.
So people why get into justifying jodis or people and getting into passionate stands. Do comment and discuss, but then just leave it, its a show after all.
watch it for what its worth - time pass
Cheers😳

Yes I agree. discussions and views are necessary but not arguments.
my experience is that after most reality shows get over we tend to forget the guys. like i used to love Hemachandra and Amit Paul. when those shows were on I was so into supporting them. but later on when it ended I didnt miss them as much as I expected. Maybe once in a while we remember the singers etc, but largely after the show ends something else occupies our attention.
so why argue over our favorites with others whom we will perhaps meet here even after the show ends :))

Lovely write-up😊 I agree on all the points...! After seeing so much of reality TV, we all have figured out that reality is far from the truth 😆 You forgot that 90% of the time the girls are in the kitchen..or lying on the bed...😳 All the mentors are plain useless...and Romit is 🤢

I sooo wholeheartedly agree with you here, very intelligent arguements made by you,
If the format of the show would have been that the jodi's are given a chance to expericence how life is after marriage ( to a small extent), like make a budget for the household, make a division of chores, planning for future, etc, then the show would have made more sense in opinion,
Right now, all the guys and girls are doing is flirting day in and day out, sleep, eat, relax, gossip, play....that;s all, that's not real life...when their relationship is based on such a flawed circumstance, how do they expect to adjust when reality hits?????
