Sushant: 100 hours of discussion!

Sushant Singh Rajput, who will be seen in Shekhar Kapur's Paani often has long conversations about cinema with his director. Details about when the film will go on the floors are yet to be finalised, more will be decided in the coming weeks. Says Sushant, "Around the second week of May, I will get to know about when the film will start rolling. I have read the script and I have had about 100 hours of discussion on the same with him. Just hearing him talk is so informative. Working with him will be like going to school because he is like an educational institution. The pre-production is currently on."

The rumour mills have been buzzing about how the Dhoni biopic has hit a roadblock thanks to an inflated budget and a script that hasn't got the nod from Captain Cool. But Mirror has learnt that the film is on track and will roll next month. A source close to the development confirmed this, saying, "Yes, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will go on floors in June. The film's writer-director, Neeraj Pandey, is currently on a recce in London.

Most of the main characters, besides Sushant Singh Rajput who plays Dhoni, have already been finalised. There's just one important role that's waiting to be cast, that of Dhoni's wife, Sakshi. And three actresses have been approached for it. Alia (Bhatt), Shraddha (Kapoor) and Kriti (Sanon) are all keen. One of them will be finalised soon." The film traces not only India's ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's professional career, but also touches on his personal life. Sakshi Singh Rawat, a Dehradun girl, was studying hotel management and working as a trainee in a five-star hotel in Kolkata where she met Dhoni in 2007 through a common friend - his then manager Yudhajit Dutta.

India were playing Pakistan at the Eden Gardens at the time and the team was staying at the hotel where Sakshi was interning. It was her last day of training. They met... And left. But soon, a text from the Indian skipper took Sakshi by surprise. The calls and texts continued and they started dating in March 2008. Two years later, they tied the knot on July 4, 2012. Now they are the proud parents of a daughter, Ziva, who was born on February 6, 2015. "It's a significant role. Sakshi enters the picture just before the interval and continues till the end," adds the source. Will it end with Sakshi becoming a mother? On that query mum was the answer.
