Heya guys!
So I thought, now that we are in the last week of the show, why not go in flashback mode remembering all the interesting characters whom we saw in PR, dissecting every bit of their presence and work on the show, and viewing them from different angles?😃

So let's start with an angle that will hopefully interest a lot of people- Clothes!😃

Yes, I know that quite a number of times BT left the audience unhappy when it came to the way they dressed up their actors, but many a times they have also delivered well👏, some times the actors themselves have experimented with their clothes and as a result we got a chance to see the actors dressed very well, pulling off various kinds of looks and so on!

So, are there any such instances/clothes/looks/styles which stood out for you? Which character's dressing sense and clothes did you like the most? Which character looked best in which type of look? Whose look was well devised? And who in your opinion was the fashionista on PR?

Feel free to blabber! 😆

There is this blue kurta that both Manavs and Arjun had worn. Bas Naren ko usse pehene ki zaroorat hain. I tried to look for the pictures, but didn't get them.

There have been many clothes that have been repeated and worn by different characters. It was always fun to point out that another character had worn it previously.

Will add more later!

In terms of fashion or styling ...
Manav ( Sushant )
I loved the way he was styled in the show when the show started ...The check shirts , the worned out jeans , stubble , locket and slippers ...
Manav will stay in my mind forever like this ...So simple and yet so sweet he was .

Archana .
The more simple she was the more beautiful she looked .Ankita has gorgeous features .
Her clothes were so simple first , cotton shalwar kameez's and then she got married and simple cotton sarees ...
She looked her best when she was very very poor and Manav and Ankita got married the second time ...

Manav ( Hiten )
He looked very handsome as the ricjh Manav in suits and wearing glasses .Glasses suit him a lot ...

Arjun .
In terms of looks he looked very handsome after the second leap..He was not looking older ( as he was older in age then ) but he just looked very classy .

Purvi .
I liked Purvi best when she was not married and used to live with her Aie .The simple cotton suits made her look very pretty .

Ankita .
Ankita Mahatre is such a good looking character ...The more simple look the better she looked . . Ankita to me looked her best before she was married ...after marraige she looked good when she as dressed in a simple way .

Naren ...
More than his clothes , his looks were about , 'with beard or without beard " I like the without beard look but these days he is looking good with the beard also .

I think Ankita, Ovi and Pari got some very nice clothes in the show.. (though I suspect many of Ankita's clothes were her own..).. to me personally their clothes appealed more than that of other characters..
Ankita's kurtas and Mickey Mouse T-shirts (before marriage) were really nice, and she wore some very nice sarees and suits after her marriage to Naren. The one coming to my mind right now is a white saree with a stylish blouse (the Manish Malhotra one) which she wore for the episode when Sunny Leone came to the show. Also many of Ankita's clothes when she was in Banaras with Rannvijay's family were very nice..

Pari used to wear nice and stylish formals as she was shown to be a business woman. I liked that and many times they did up her hair nicely too..

Ovi I have not followed that well (as I didn't see the serial in those days) but from what I remember she used to dress up very nicely after her marriage to Arjun.

Archana's sarees were to die for! To me they were one important reason for watching PR!. Ankita Lokhande looked so beautiful, graceful and elegant as Archana. i remember a Holi function where she wore a green saree and marathi attire and looked most beautiful! I couldnt take my eyes off her.The sarees worn by the Karanjakar sisters Archu, varsha and Vaishu were really good and they all looked beautiful. Even Sulochana wore good traditional sarees while manjusha was always somewhat overdressed!

Manav's simple checked shirts and Damodar's kurtas were so apt, so were Manohar Karanjkar's glasses which used to go on and off during moments of stress. Manav's blingy kurtas during rituals and functions really suited Sushant.

In PR1, all the characters dressed realistically according to their social status and situation. It added so much value to PR.

Later Ovi's modern dressing sense was a standout for me. Though everyone looked good. Hiten Tejwani looked nice in his formal suits. The story though didnt match up sadly.

I loved everyone's dressing from the beginning till the first leap (afterwards, I stopped watching the show). The more simpler the dresses were, the more beautiful/handsome the character looked.
I really really loved the simple cotton salwars Archana used to wear before her marriage ( I bought 3 salwars like the black one she used to wear with gold border, I have bought in dark purple, dark green and blue color 😆). I also loved the sarees she wore just after her marriage, esp the green one and orange/yellow one (garage scene ;) ).

I also loved Varsha's kurtis.

Manav was at his best with his checked shirts , though Hiten was class and elegant in suits as well. I don't think checked shirts would be good on Hiten...

Sulochana's traditional sarees were also nice.

I love casual dresses and whatever was worn in the beginning of the show was the best for me. It was realistic.

I agree with you guys, in the first generation story, every character was styled very realistically and in a very unique manner according to the personality, background and social strata of the character. Be it Rasika Tai who wore classy sarees pinned up in a prim and proper fashion along with a pearl necklace, or Savita Aai who wore cheap cotton sarees with her hair slightly unkempt cos of the fighting 😆 - the styling was very relatable and real. With the changes in the story, the styling of the character also was changed accordingly, especially in case of Archana. It was interesting how no two characters had the same sort of look (at least not that I can remember). Even supporting characters looks were given importance- Vaishali, who used to wear simple salwar suits, after marriage started wearing more blingy sarees and bandhej sarees too I think, cos it was shown that she was married in a Marwari family.
I loved Manav and Archana's respective night clothes- so real and relatable, just the kind people themselves wear at home. And Manav's locket has always been special to me. <3

I guess Ankita was the first BT heroine to wear a night gown. And, she looked lovely.

I loved their night clothes, they made it look so real..Archana's night dress before marriage (Manjusha used to wear same ones), and Manav's ash T-shirt..

That too not a satiny night gown, but a simple cotton one. Else Ekta has also presented us with middle class families where the heroine wears satin night gowns with a proper robe and noodle strap kurtas to work.😆 That too not in Mumbai, but in Shimla!😆
