Okay Tanya Di you know exactly what I think of Naren, that he is a loser of the first order and I want Ankita to get Ashi's custody too, but I have to say that I think Naren sees very well that the situation is not right at all, he does see Ashi's pain.. at the same time he reprimanded her (lovingly, I must add) bcos parents do not encourage children speaking such stuff about elders or such behavior. If they start speaking ill or scolding parents in front of the children or agreeing with them or even leave such behavior unchecked, then children also get encouraged to think they are right, imitate the same and much worse. Instead they try to get the child to respect the other parent by saying 'no she/he loves you, don't say this' while on the side they do fight with the other parent saying how they are wrong and stuff and try to manage the problem on the side- both of which Naren is doing.

Even the flowers and gifts to Pari are not for pampering her or for the sake of romance. They are just to make her feel a little loved so that she behaves properly with Ashi, as she feels Ashi has come in between both of them.

Niki, what you said about Naren telling Ashi to respect Pari , fine ...I agree with you as a responsible parent he should tell her this to respect her mother ..He did right to correct Ashi .

But I do believe that Naren has been way too linient with Pari .

The day they had a fight , she said in front of Pari that she was never in favour of adoption and cannot connect with the child ...she treated Ashi like an outsider , right there in front of her ...why do yo uthink Ashi is feeling insecure that Pari is trying to take her father away .

Naren should take his wife out if she is feeling neglected and giveher gifts but if his daughter is feeling insecure and being made to feel like an outsider then that is a situation that has to be dealt with strictly ..

Pari has to be told that she is never ever to talk this nonsense in front of the baby and if Pari is not listening then this issue should be taken up with her grand parents ...

I felt that it was important that this was taken care of first before pampering his wife specially as she is still not accepting that she said anything wrong .

Of course I understand what you are saying ,, I would have dealt with this one issue more strictly ...about issue being told that she was never really wanted by her mother

This part I also agree with you, it is amazing actually that Naren has let such type of behavior go unchecked for 5 years actually.😲 He should have dealt with Pari's insecurities long back itself and even if she did not correct herself, should have been strict with her. Leaving the child alone and going on a holiday is immature to say the least.

My difference in point of view was only in regards to Naren reprimanding Ashi and giving flowers and gifts to Pari. I don't think he was wrong in reprimanding her, plus I think he understands what the child is going through, even if his methods to correct the situation are not right. His priority is Ashi, not Pari. Even if he is spending time with her or pampering her, it is so that she behaves better with Ashi, not for the sake of romance.

Pari's biggest problem is grudge keeping ..

Pari's problem is that she always potrays herself as a victim and others are bad. It is mistakes of ArMan, Savita, Sulo and Teju. They treated her las if she was the only grand daughter of Deshmukhs. That is what spoilt her so much.

The more I see Pari misbehaving with Ashi and then I see Naren , not saying a word to Pari but instead romancing her by taking her to a romantic trip to see Taj Mahal in Agra , the more I dislike him as a father ...

Pari will hate Aashi more if finds out that she is Ankita and Naren's daughter... she will blame both Ankita and Aashi for coming between her and Naren... stupid woman... all she wants to do is eating pizza with Naren and dancing on tum ho...
