There's never any excuse, any, for physical abuse to a woman. Manav hit Archana and pushed her to the wall and injured her..i didn't see the episodes with Narne, but read i think that Naren pushed Ankita and she fell down. I will never agree that Manav had a right to hit her, and Naren didn't. Physical abuse is absolutely a not acceptable thing for anyone. Nor did I say Manav had a right to hit her. I have already said that he might have done right or wrong things to her. I don't know which episode this happened and why he pushed her in rage. All I said was that people do wrong things at times but you have to think from where they are coming from, the reason for their anger and then decide whether those wrong acts can be forgiven or not. Archana has done a 100 foolish things right from doing a court case against Manav, almost causing her own son to die, almost pushing Ovi to suicide etc. but inspite of that I understand that many of her wrong actions were bcos of misguided mahanta or bcos she doesn't have the brain to understand where these actions would lead. (Much like all the BT leads). Her heart, her intentions have always been good. And so have Manav's.
Plus I dont' think people were soft on Manav, (except a very few)...I remember people saying exactly the same thing, that Archana should never go back to him, that she deserved better..at those times in Canada and back in India when he was terrible to her. He was under the spell of Savita which is still not a good excuse. Naren is under the spell of both his mother and Pari. Really??? 😆 People bashed Manav and let Archana go scot free over everything? Okay I didn't know this part. When I spoke about this, I was referring to people whose views I have read, some of my friends on the forum, people around me and so on, etc. All I can say is I totally disagree with everyone and I say Archana was LUCKY that Manav and her daughters accepted her back when she didn't even apologise properly for everything that she did. Any other man would have broken the marriage long back bcos honestly speaking Archana has given so many reasons to Manav for it (and that too without Savita's having anything to do with them), and all of them were big reasons- loss of a child, ignoring the other kids, court case against Manav calling him fraud and so on.
Even if people were angry at him then, I think overall everyone accepted the reunion later- reason being the same- Manav's underdying love for her despite everything and the same from the other side. Manav-Archana BOTH made mistakes, BOTH suffered and yet BOTH continued to love each other.
Anyway, I simply was making a valid point, imo, on the simple correlations which i do believe exist. I wasn't comparing their love stories, but the reasons given are always Naren's meanness.
Think about it though. He DOESN'T REMEMBER being married to Ankita. Suddenly he wakes up where he left off with Pari, and his mother and everyone is telling him that "this girl Ankita" is a gold digger. Any normal person would do pretty much what he did. But fairly soon he began to see something in Ankita that elicited a warm response to her. Yes, he still was cold and not loving her because she was a stranger to him. Now I see him starting to care about her.
1.) When told that Ankita was his wife and she had saved his life, he neither accepted the wedding nor treated her with basic respect. He pretty much treated her as an unwanted piece of crap.
2.) Even after the contract marriage lie, he treated her as nothing better than a glorified employee. He was never grateful to her for saving his life, he let Pari badmouth her, he thought low of her when he came to know she was pregnant and thought she had an affair with her sister's husband- knowing VERY well how much she loved her family and how many sacrifices she had done for them- he just twisted it around to make it suit his situation every time so Pari would not leave him.
3.) When Ankita was going away in a pregnant state, he could have stopped her or told her whereabouts to her family who were worried sick for her, but he didn't- cos Ankita going away benefitted HIM. He was tired of people accusing the baby of being his. Ankita jaaye bhaad mein, who even cares, right?
4.) Pari runs over Ankita's to be husband. Causes him to go in coma. Fine, out of love for Pari, he lies in court. I will accept this as people do become selfish and try to hide the truth in legal matters. But he does not tell the truth even in front of Archana-Manav when PAri screams that Ankita is lying and has caused them to be homeless and has destroyed their lives. What does he want? - that Archana Manav also disown Ankita so that ultimately Ankita becomes all alone in the whole wide world? Husband ko toh coma mein hi bhej hi diya hai, in laws were already blaming Ankita for the accident, there is not even the concern in him to at least make sure Rannvijay gets well at least or confess the truth to Ankita and offer to help with the treatment, they just admitted him in hospital and ran away at the first given opportunity. Where is the concern? Where is the goodness? I certainly don't see it. He is just being very very ungrateful to someone who saved his life.
And there is certainly no love.
Golly, give him a chance to be redeemed. Everyone else has been given one. Arey aap do na chance!😆 Mujhe nahi dena!😆 My opinions are different, and this is a debate anyway. We can have our own opinions right? So far the character Naren hasn't cast a favourable impression on me at all, so I don't want to give him a chance. Aap do chance! 😃
Anyhow I don't think we are going to agree so let's just agree to disagree. Good night.😊
