Why stop at Naren, then? One should give chance to Pari as well. Naren could have two houses. He could romance Ankita in the chawl and Pari at the Karmarkar mansion. He could dance with both on their favourite songs, eat cheese pizza with Pari and blue cheese cake with Ankita. Happily ever after threesome.

No, for sure the Ankita Naren track is not as deep or complex as ArMan. I didn't address that issue. It's a given that it isn't as deep and it is what it is...but none of the current tracks have any depth, not just Ankita/Naren.

I was simply responding to the usual objection being that of his being mean and unkind to Ankita, which, imo, Manav was also to Archu.

You've jumped way ahead and able to comment on how Manav changed back to being a good person, you are able to comment from the end of the story. That is coming with Naren but hasn't happened yet, so it's not possible to compare that part of it.

I'm just saying, give Naren a chance.

I am not jumping ahead, I'm commenting on that turbulent phase of their relationship only. I don't feel Manav changed to being a good person bcos he was always a good person anyway. He was never bad IMHO. My point was that in their turbulent phase when Manav was supposedly 'mean' and 'unkind' to Archana, the audience was able to empathize with him bcos the situation was truly very very difficult for him. His reactions might have been wrong or right but his reactions struck a chord with the audience, bcos Archana's mistakes were pretty grave also. Losing a child is not a petty thing, it drives people to the brink and relationships break over it. Add to it that Archana constantly put her kids on the backburner even when Manav suggested that they reconcile. How can one expect Manav to constantly put her on a pedestal then and be 'good'. He was 'bad' and it was much more realistic and touching.

Manav's meanness and unkindness had a GENUINE REASON behind it, HURT behind it. Naren's meanness has only SELFISHNESS behind it. And that too, he camouflages the meanness as either majboori or by showing that this decision is in the best interest of all. He never accepts he is wrong.

And yet Manav, inspite of everything continued to love Archana. Despite all her mistakes, he continued to love her. Nothing took away that place from his heart- not the loss of a child, not the fact that she stayed away from his kids for so many years, not that she chose others over her kids and him lots of time, not even that she dragged him in court and accused him of being a fraud. Not even that she almost drove Ovi to suicide by holding Purvi's marriage at a point when Ovi was in depression and flaunting the wedding card on her face. Absolutely nothing could tarnish Manav's love for Archana. Naren on the other hand, could not even wish well for a person who saved his life. He has never loved Ankita till date.

THOSE are the two main differences between them. Tomorrow, we might get to see Naren making big sacrifices and maybe a section of audience might warm up to him, but as of now, I hope Ankita does not go back to him. Ever. She deserves better.

TBH I still feel like giving a chance to Pari rather than Naren. Somehow I always feel she is in depression or something ever since she lost both her parents and her baby and could never become a mother again.

There's never any excuse, any, for physical abuse to a woman. Manav hit Archana and pushed her to the wall and injured her..i didn't see the episodes with Narne, but read i think that Naren pushed Ankita and she fell down. I will never agree that Manav had a right to hit her, and Naren didn't. Physical abuse is absolutely a not acceptable thing for anyone.

Plus I dont' think people were soft on Manav, (except a very few)...I remember people saying exactly the same thing, that Archana should never go back to him, that she deserved better..at those times in Canada and back in India when he was terrible to her. He was under the spell of Savita which is still not a good excuse. Naren is under the spell of both his mother and Pari.

Anyway, I simply was making a valid point, imo, on the simple correlations which i do believe exist. I wasn't comparing their love stories, but the reasons given are always Naren's meanness.

Think about it though. He DOESN'T REMEMBER being married to Ankita. Suddenly he wakes up where he left off with Pari, and his mother and everyone is telling him that "this girl Ankita" is a gold digger. Any normal person would do pretty much what he did. But fairly soon he began to see something in Ankita that elicited a warm response to her. Yes, he still was cold and not loving her because she was a stranger to him. Now I see him starting to care about her.

Golly, give him a chance to be redeemed. Everyone else has been given one.

If that's what you like, you are entitled to your ideas. I personally hate threesomes.😉

Why should I give Naren a chance? He isn't paying me for it. I did rather switch off the TV. 😆

Ankita-Naren can reunite and their fans can celebrate, wherever they are.

How bad can it be compared to a man switching between two wives! 😉

Naren has really let me down ..Not because he loved Pari and never went back to Ankita but because of the way he treated Ankita after knowing that she had a major contribution in him getting better ..
even now he is being unfair to her ..His wife knocked her fiance down and put the poor fellow in coma and he is protecting his wife ..OK, some people might say that he is taking care of his family as some would ...fine , but when Pari talks rude to Ankita and tells the world that Ankita is ruining them and is tying to destroy the Karmarkar family , then he just stands there and lets his mother and wife talk rubbish about Ankita ..He can definitely put a stop to that but Ankita is just not that important to him ...he is a thankless and selfish human being ..
His love or Aashi is also questionable ...
If any loving father saw his daughter being treated the way Aashi is treated by Pari then that father would definitely tell his wife , " change your attitude or else I am leaving you " ... But Pari is rewarded with holidays , cakes , gifts ...you name it ...
Naren is a wuss, he is scared of Pari .
Fans liked the chemistry of Karan and Ankita ..They were cute , adorable and so good together that only for that reason the writers are still trying to show some dil ka rishta between Naren and Ankita .
What dil ka rishta I want to know ??? I see None ..😕
When I saw Ranvijay and how he was with Ankita , it was a clear situation that this guy has been God's gift to Ankita for her patience and her goodness ...but look at that guy ..He is totally out of the story lying on bed in coma ...while Naren will be getting all the chances in the world to get to know Ankita in the office ..
And Ankita is weird ...why is she still thinking about Naren ...why is she not thinking about Ranvijay ????
For now I am only interested in Aashi and want to see Ankita do well as MD ...other than that not much is making sense ..

Naava , it is the chemistry between Karan and Ankita .That was so cute and lovely that many fans are still wanting to see them again ...but the writers are spoiling their story more and more each day ..Now things have gone so bad..
I am just fed up ..Only like Aashi
I think you want to see Karan and Ankita together in some well written scenes ( the way it used to be ) rather than Naren and Ankita ...
