No, for sure the Ankita Naren track is not as deep or complex as ArMan. I didn't address that issue. It's a given that it isn't as deep and it is what it is...but none of the current tracks have any depth, not just Ankita/Naren.I was simply responding to the usual objection being that of his being mean and unkind to Ankita, which, imo, Manav was also to Archu. You've jumped way ahead and able to comment on how Manav changed back to being a good person, you are able to comment from the end of the story. That is coming with Naren but hasn't happened yet, so it's not possible to compare that part of it.I'm just saying, give Naren a chance.

Why stop at Naren, then? One should give chance to Pari as well. Naren could have two houses. He could romance Ankita in the chawl and Pari at the Karmarkar mansion. He could dance with both on their favourite songs, eat cheese pizza with Pari and blue cheese cake with Ankita. Happily ever after threesome.

I am not jumping ahead, I'm commenting on that turbulent phase of their relationship only. I don't feel Manav changed to being a good person bcos he was always a good person anyway. He was never bad IMHO. My point was that in their turbulent phase when Manav was supposedly 'mean' and 'unkind' to Archana, the audience was able to empathize with him bcos the situation was truly very very difficult for him. His reactions might have been wrong or right but his reactions struck a chord with the audience, bcos Archana's mistakes were pretty grave also. Losing a child is not a petty thing, it drives people to the brink and relationships break over it. Add to it that Archana constantly put her kids on the backburner even when Manav suggested that they reconcile. How can one expect Manav to constantly put her on a pedestal then and be 'good'. He was 'bad' and it was much more realistic and touching.
Manav's meanness and unkindness had a GENUINE REASON behind it, HURT behind it. Naren's meanness has only SELFISHNESS behind it. And that too, he camouflages the meanness as either majboori or by showing that this decision is in the best interest of all. He never accepts he is wrong.
And yet Manav, inspite of everything continued to love Archana. Despite all her mistakes, he continued to love her. Nothing took away that place from his heart- not the loss of a child, not the fact that she stayed away from his kids for so many years, not that she chose others over her kids and him lots of time, not even that she dragged him in court and accused him of being a fraud. Not even that she almost drove Ovi to suicide by holding Purvi's marriage at a point when Ovi was in depression and flaunting the wedding card on her face. Absolutely nothing could tarnish Manav's love for Archana. Naren on the other hand, could not even wish well for a person who saved his life. He has never loved Ankita till date.
THOSE are the two main differences between them. Tomorrow, we might get to see Naren making big sacrifices and maybe a section of audience might warm up to him, but as of now, I hope Ankita does not go back to him. Ever. She deserves better.

Golly, give him a chance to be redeemed. Everyone else has been given one.
If that's what you like, you are entitled to your ideas. I personally hate threesomes.😉
