She went away as far as she could. Today, when Pari came crying as far as the nursing home to know about the baby's father she consoled Pari and
explained her that she should go back to the marriage and be happy with
Naren... Ankita explained so nicely about why Pari and Naren should be
together and Ankita assured and assured her that she would do everything
possible to not come between them! What more can she do for them? YET she is being called SELFISH.
Truth is ball is in Pari's court now, she can tell Naren the
truth and walk out if she still feels guilty about it or she can
understand why Ankita made this sacrifice and be happy with her life
with Naren, or even best, she can discuss it out with Naren and together they can discuss it out. Ankita has done as much as possible for them to be together, more than even humanely possible. As much as I hate the girl for her foolishness and mahanta, I can never agree to the fact that Ankita has been selfish.

Agreed. Shes not selfish. Just stupid for the time being.

Thank goodness at least you see this Soniyaa, otherwise I am getting shocks today in the forum, honestly.😆 Call that girl stupid, thick in the head, illogical, mahaan etc. and I'll even join in the bashing, but selfish? No way can I agree to that! In fact if she had been a wee bit selfish, she wouldn't have been facing even half of the problems she is facing now.

Well i don't hate Ankita or dislike her. I'm just upset with the mhaanness etc cuz i saw where it landed Archu and Purvi. A lot of diff people were hurt in those situations and the same thing is repeating now. But i would never call her selfish - whatever shes doing she believes is the right thing for others. She just doesnt realize it will actually hurt them

Exactly! That's what I have been saying since the beginning, she doesn't realize that it will hurt them, this is something we as viewers can predict bcos we are familiar with how PR works. I am no fan of Archu's mahaanta too, but it beats me when people call them selfish. They're not.

I dont even call her stupid.. What was stupid and unnecessarily mahaan was what Archana used to do and what Purvi used to do. They wanted others happniess too but they were not thinking logically. Like when archana was letting manav marry shravani, they didnt love each other. they could have just adopted sachin from day one and give him the name. then she kept quiet when manav took off with the girls. again, she should have spoken up. she stayed quiet cuz she didnt want to hurt manav but she ended up hurting all of them including her. Listening to Sachin and lying to all that she wants divorce and money from manav didnt make sense either. She could have put some right sense into him instead of her doing the wrong thing. Same with Purvi, she sacrifised for Ovi and kept doing it where she clearly knew it was just her one sided obsession and the family could have helped her with that. But in turn they all were unhappy for years and years.

but this is different. everything was out in the open. they are all in this situation. I give Pari credit because she wanted to accept this hard fact of life and move on but Naren did not want to. He considers her "NOT his type" and thinks low of her and wants her to die.. do whatever but stay away from my life. If she had forced herself on him legally or giving him guilt about the baby then she would just be forcing him and all would be unhappy. Just for the right?? come on, Pari and Pia both grew up with their mothers only... and especially Pia, she was raised all alone by her mother and they are all doing good.

I have said this before too, when the father of the baby does not want to accept the truth, what can she do. She held her head high and left them all and will raise the baby on her own.

I dont think there is anything else she could have done for these people. If the truth came out, it wasnt like Naren would just fall in love with Ankita.. and on the other hand Pari would have stayed away too... so nothing good would have come out if she had told this truth before. this was the perfect time.. this way the marriage happened and she is not hiding any fact from anyone.

I see your point, other members have also said the same thing, and I also understand that if she had told the truth earlier everyone (including the courts) would have forced Naren to accept the baby and her despite his wishes and Pari too would not have agreed to marry him and so all 3 of them would have been unhappy, but still I feel, maybe the separation of Ankita-Naren all it could have been handled in a better manner.. especially bcos it created a lot of confusion and people raised questions on Ankita's character.. you have to say 10 lies to hide one lie na, that is why.. that's why I call her stupid sometimes.. maybe one truth might have made things easier for her as in she would not have to leave the security of her family which she needed badly at this time..

But yeah, your point also makes sense.. issue is debatable.

You're def right and I agree with a lot of what you wrote.

However, i feel that telling the truth prior to the marriage wasn't about getting naren back or for him to accept the baby. It was about Naren knowing the truth and especially Pari. Pari was marrying someone else within a few mins and Ankita came there to help Naren but also put Pari back into square 1 from which she was ready to move on from. Someone wrote - Pari took a risk with this marriage. Thats true - but the risk she took is because shes being misled.

So in a way - ankita is just like Purvi and Archu - believing others will benefit from their scarfices.

Pari may have been unhappy but she was forming a friendship with Shekar and ready to marry him. I remember their honest, sincere and sweet conversations. She would have gotten her hapilly ever after.

Naren may have been unhappy but neither Ankita or Pari were ever the solution to his unhappiness. We all know hes mentally ill.

Ankita is still unhappy regardless now but at least i would have been there rooting for her if she fought for what was rightfully hers!

COMEON GUYS ITS ANKITA!!

If she could fight the whole Naren family including Naren and face all the rejections for her sister during her rape case, then why can't she face rejections for her baby and herself.

You don't leave the love of your life because you are scared. She did it for Naren's happiness. And most importantly, it will be way more difficult for her to take care of her child alone with no money than in Naren's house.I can't see her as a selfish person at all.
