TOI article of Rithvik
Actor Rithvik Dhanjani known for his acting abilities and agile dance moves is in a comfortable space in his professional and in personal life at the moment. While life has some beautiful romantic undertaking in store for the telly hunk, Rithvik's TV itinerary seems to be going strong every passing day. Rithvik, who's playing a werewolf in Fanaa believes in reinventing himself during his various small screen outings, talks about marriage, time management and more.
Excerpts from a chat:

Viewers have seen you donning many avatars on small screen. Does multitasking fascinate you? As an actor, I compete with myself when I take up my next role. My life has always revolved around multitasking. I am young so I can compromise on sleep. I am 25, so I can afford to multitask and stretch my physical level.

What do you like about Indian TV shows right now? What I like about Indian shows is the way love is put at the centre of a story. No matter how many computer graphics are suffused in a scene, what amazes me in a show is how emotions are given importance to. In Fanaa, the love story moves me more than the computer graphics. You are playing werewolf for the second time in a TV show. It's a challenge - as an actor I believe in taking myself to another level in my subsequent role that I take up. It's like once you've created a path for yourself and you are to take a diversion. That's not an easy job in hand. At the end of the day, people fall in love with each other and that's what the audience likes to watch. A brand new series with a fresh appeal is liked by audience. I feel mini series is the order of the say.

Is doing supernatural thriller physically demanding? It's not physically demanding per se, but, I must confess, I'm nervous because playing a werewolf requires me to be much more complex and dynamic. However, I spend two hours for make up before taking the shot.

Are you contemplating marriage at this stage? Asha (Negi) and I will get married. But that will take about two years. Till then I'd like to focus on work. I make sure on a daily basis I have some special moments with Asha.
