After a change in the time slot (from 9 pm to 6.30 pm), TV show Pavitra Rishta is set for more changes.

The show, which has already gone through a number of time leaps " the recent one being a generation leap of 18 years " will take another jump of four years. And, if sources are to be believed, the upcoming change hasn't gone down well with the show's lead actress, Ankita Lokhande. She was already upset with the change in telecast time.

Says a source, "The duration hasn't been decided yet. It could be anything between one to five years. Ankita isn't too happy with the development and has asked the production house to stick to one year. We are trying to convince her as she has to first agree on money." When contacted, Ankita said, "I am not shooting and hence, I have no idea about the leap. And I am not unhappy."

Zee TV's longest running show Pavitra Rishta will head towards a year's leap in its coming episodes.

Balaji Telefilms' popular show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has recently completed its successful journey of 5 years though the show's numbers are dipping in the TRP rating but the team was highly ecstatic to enjoy the moment together and celebrated the joyful occasion with a cake cutting ceremony.

There have been a lot of changes in the show since the show started. It seems that the recent change in the time slot has not gone well the audience who have lost their interest in the show. After repeated warnings by the lead Ankita Lokhande to quit the show, the creative as well as the makers of the show are in a fix owing to Ankita's growing tantrums which was affecting the show as well.

Once again the show will head towards a year's leap and the storyline will be changed henceforth. The show has gone through a number of time leaps in 5 years. The show started with a journey of the couple Manav (Hiten Tejwani) and Archana (Ankita Lokhande) later on their grown-up children and now the story focuses on their grown-up grandchildren. Well with the recent development it looks like the show is matches up with the idea of the very popular show Kyunkii Saas bhi Kabhi Thi which saw en-number of leaps.

According to the sources, "The team has decided to take a new jump of four years in the show. But if sources are to be believed, the lead actress Ankita Lokhande is not happy with the further development in the show, she is asking to stick to 1 year leap instead of 4 years."

So according to the sources, "The duration hasn't been decided yet but it could be anything between one to five years."

For confirmation about the leap we contacted the main lead of the show Karan Mehra aka Naren and he says, "Yes the show is taking a leap and it will be merely of one year which will happen after the marriage sequence and a new track will be followed from there. The leap is expected to take place soon."

Well Pavitra Rishta is on its way to try all possible variations that it could survive its place in the TRP charts!
