While watching PR I noticed that the pandit put the Sindoor on Pari and not on Ankita. Definitely symbolic of what is coming... Didn't the same thing happen with the previous generation? The sindoor was put on Purvi, instead of Ovi? It's the same story again...
This time, I am confused though... I don't know who should be with Naren. Naren loves Ahana, whom he thinks is Ankita. I just read that he will soon come to realize that Pari is Ahana, and will leave Ankita. Before, I wanted Arjun to be with Pari, because I realize now that I saw those two fall in love. But this time, I saw Ankita fall for Naren. So now, I want those two to be together. But Naren loves Pari. So in this generation, Naren = Arjun, Ankita = Ovi, and Pari = Purvi. It's amazing how the writers can mess with a viewers mind and whom they want together, just by what they show. The CVs must be laughing at us...

It is kinda difficult to choose one couple over the other bcos none of the three people involved are 'bad' or have done something horribly wrong in the relationship enough to be punished for it- all of them have loved deeply and truly. Plus both Pari and Ankita have had bad childhoods, and Pari still carries the scars of her broken relationship with Naren to the extent that she is unwilling to move on in life.
But I guess if I have to choose, I'll root for Anken ONLY IF Naren understands and appreciates Ankita's love and decides to keep his past aside, accept his present and move on in life with his marriage wholeheartedly like Aishwarya's character in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. As for Pari, hopefully she will realise that Naren did not cheat her the way she always thought her father cheated her mother, it was just cruel fate and that there is hope in love, relationship and men still. She could be shown moving on in life rather than be bitter about it and punish herself every minute.
What I would not like is a compromise situation where Naren pines for Pari but stays married to Ankita bcos of all that she has done for him or bcos of a baby in the picture (As they have consummated their marriage) It would be unfair to both the girls and unfortunate for Naren. In that case it would be better Naren gets back with Pari while Ankita separates and tries to create a new life for herself with the help of her family.
