I loved Wednesday and if that director is making the film then it should be good ...let's see when the final confirmation will come .

This sounds gr8! A biopic on Dhoni sounds much better than one on Azharuddin! 😛 😆
I wonder why nobody thinks of making a biopic on Sachin Tendulkar...I mean he is considered (to be) the God of Cricket... plus he is one of the most respected and loved cricketers of all time ;a legend. I would love to see a biopic on Sachin Tendulkar.
Anyway, a biopic on MS Dhoni too, has a lot of potential.
And woah, Neeraj Pandey?!! I loved both his films, 'A Wednesday' and 'Special 26'.So, hopefully this biopic too, will turn out to be a gr8 film.
Now, I really really hope that this article is true and not based on mere speculation.Hope we get some sort of an official confirmation soon.

Yeah...95 crores is a HUGE budget!!!! It has to be a top banner film...hope it's not YRF...want Sushant to branch out of YRF and not put all his eggs in one basket.

it is great if he is really in d movie. neeraj pandey is really a gud director. sp 26 n wednesday were really gud. so want sushant to work wid him.

waiting for d confirmation n it will be easy for sushant to play d character as he is already trained in cricketer

In fact, he has also visited Ranchi (Dhoni's hometown) and interacted with the locals as part of his preparation," says an insider close to the production.

Sushant and Dhoni are also believed to have met at a Bandra fivestar hotel. "We don't know the reason, but we had seen the two of

them together right before Dhoni left for the New Zealand series," says a member of the hotel's staff.

While the biopic is expected to cover Dhoni's journey " from a small-town boy to a global phenomenon " a part of it will also focus on his wife Sakshi. "They are considering Deepika Padukone or Shraddha Kapoor to play Sakshi," adds the insider.

The yet-untitled film is likely to kick off in early 2015. "He has to transform his body before filming. Since he also has to wrap up Dibakar's and Shekhar Kapur's films, which require different physiques, it'll take some time for the biopic to get started," adds the insider. Apparently, it will be made on a budget of around 95 crore and shot in Jharkhand, Durban in South Africa, and London, among other locations.

Despite repeated attempts, neither Sushant nor Neeraj could be reached for comment.

This article has gone as far as claiming that Sushant went to Ranchi and even met Dhoni to discuss the film. So many developments have supposedly taken place and we didn't even have any inkling about it. The writer, however, forgot the most crucial detail: the producer. I think I will wait before getting too excited about the project. This is much better than Azar's biopic. The best part of this project is that Neeraj Pandey is directing it and since its on MSD, the film will draw a lot of interest.
