I am not sure the rationale behind why EK insists that the lead return her husband's home. It makes no sense as she simply demonstrates an absolute lack of self-respect. Her insistence to be friendly with RK is nonsense and the rationale unbelievable. It shows so much disrespect to what her sister had to endure.
And when they asked her to go to the media and say her accusations were false, she refused because it would weaken Mansi's case - why didn't she say "It's a lie?"
It is bad enough witnessing the rape case, but this is even more horrific. Here's hoping that we see some justice in the show and I would really like to see one show where the lead throws it back in the face of her abusers.

Laila I agree very much with what you have written and it is well put. The blame of course, as you state it, is with Ekta. She revels in abuse. She loves to show women being abused and pushed around by the men they love. It is really very disturbing that Zee TV continues to show this, but maybe they don't care either.
I have watched other indian soaps, and anytime there was violence towards someone, especially a woman, it was clear it was the evil character, it was clear it was WRONG, and the perpetrator was punished.
In Ekta's shows, it is the leads, the supposed heros and heroines, it's never really shown wrong at all, and even if rarely, an apology is issued, it is overlooked by the in love female, who forgives all.
I have to say, that India seems to have a serious problem with this kind of mentality being acceptable. I see the responses on this and other forums,...oh it's ok, he didn't mean, ok he is mentally disturbed so it's ok (the famous plea in the court room, i was temporarily insane), it's ok as long as he apologizes.
It is NOT ok and Ankita should never go back to Naren after he has shoved her 3 or 4 times. Even once.
Ekta could have avoided all this by never showing Naren abusing Ankita. Then the love story could proceed. He could have refused to talk to her, asked her to leave without the violence, but once physical abuse and violence enters in it changes it. But you see Ekta loves it. And she knows her audience will forgive him, because ...he's cute, they like the love story so it doesn't' matter.
There are 3 people who should be sitting in the jail cell imo. Raunak, Kinneri, and Ekta. And perhaps the viewers. If the audience would refuse to watch it, then she couldn't get away with it.
This was my first Ekta serial. and definitely my last.
