Excuse me for the spelling mistake... I am glad it gave you the opportunity to feel good about yourself to correct me 😉 Can be clueless and shameless at the same time?

I do not understand why Ekta insists on showing the leading character withstanding so much verbal and physical abuse from Naren. Does Ekta sincerely believe this is romantic to the viewer? Women who cannot identify this as abuse are often victims of abuse either directly or have witnessed it in their homes and do not know better. Tragically when these individuals are in positions of power, they can misinform the public and do considerable damage. Tragically while EK is not open to learning, neither are many individuals within India. As a result the incident of abuse continues to remain high and women are still victimized on a regular basis.
I am not sure the rationale behind why EK insists that the lead return her husband's home. It makes no sense as she simply demonstrates an absolute lack of self-respect. Her insistence to be friendly with RK is nonsense and the rationale unbelievable. It shows so much disrespect to what her sister had to endure. And when they asked her to go to the media and say her accusations were false, she refused because it would weaken Mansi's case - why didn't she say "It's a lie?"It is bad enough witnessing the rape case, but this is even more horrific. Here's hoping that we see some justice in the show and I would really like to see one show where the lead throws it back in the face of her abusers.
