In PR the lauki is a truly versatile thing.

It would appear that the route to a man's heart is through his stomach with a lauki. It seems to have some truly special properties. Recipes anyone?

Hi Soni, what's saag? What would Naren and Arjun be if they like lauki sooo much.

Bengalis love Lauki...we have a Lauki dish with Mung Vadi...then also Lauki with Shrimp dish which is a HUGE favorite! Its called Lau-Chingri...

saag is like the main dish of Punjabis. It's a dish made of spinach and mustard leaves.. sometimes they put broccoli in there too! We eat it with makki di roti which is roti made of corn flour. The roti is yellowish in color.

Lauki has a lot of nutritional value. My friend just told me that lauki juice helps lose weight. I mean drinking raw lauki juice in the morning helps lose weight!

I dont remember any other lauki scenes in PR but yesterday in SSLK, Rachna was working in the kitchen and didnt have a pen and paper when her Boss called so she wrote down his instructions on a Lauki. 😆

So its not just PR CVs...everyone seems to be obsessed with laukis. Chalo achha hai, at least they are obsessing with something thats healthy! 😉

Wow Soni. Thanks fopr this detailed response. You're making me hungry yaar. As for the makki ki roti, I need the recipe. My late mother used to make it. No one in my family seems to know how to make it. If you have a recipe I will be eternally grateful. The saag sound delicious too although I have never seen mustard leaves here where I live.😆👏Thanks dear.
