Arjun is hell-bent on lying to Purvi. No one can separate ArVi if they want to be together. But that's just it. Arjun doesn't want to get back with her and wants to keep up with his stupid plan.

I mean hiding behind that door today, he looked so utterly immature resorting to dumb tactics like that. And before you say, yes Ovi is being stupid also for going along with Arjun.

HOW? Purvi first went ahead and assumed things about Arjun and Ovi having an affair and relayed this information to her parents.

Not only did she destroy her own relationship/marriage but she also damaged Ovi's relationship with her parents and subsequently Pia's relationship with her grandparents. Of course, Manav and Archana are just as much to blame as Purvi for believing her assumption blindly and shunning Ovi.

I guess maybe Ovi really wanted to exaggerate it a bit so that Purvi thinks the worst of Arjun, but I guess Arjun is the one who is making Ovi do all of this, I honestly think though deep down Ovi wants Arjun-Purvi to reunite but strangely Arjun does not want this. If he likes Purvi so much, he shud unite back with her. Maybe Ovi gave that smirk look behind Purvi so that if Purvi looked back at her she wud see Ovi smirking. I agree this whole thing was put into motion by Arjun. But even then, I wish Ovi didn't agree! I won't lay the whole blame on Arjun because Ovi did agree to it as well. She is wrong here as well!

However, exaggerating things to Ovi doesn't want to see Arjun/Purvi get back together and she's sadistically enjoying their suffering is just ... way more than what is actually happening on screen.
