Pavitra Rishta Written Update 2nd December 2013- Maha Episode

Ankita's siblings bring her out to the main room where Archana, Savita, Sulo all ladies are waiting. They smile at Ankita who is wearing a white dress and sits down, Archu puts teeka on her forehead.

Meanwhile at Karmarkar House, Rushali is happily applying haldi on Naren while Shirish, Raunak and Arjun are watching. Naren applies haldi on his own arms and face with 2 leaves.

Soham is shown walking in a drunken state, singing Lollipop song again! He sees his house all decorated and wonders why theres celebration going on there? Then he remembers, says his daughter is getting married to a King! She will become a Queen!

Archana is putting green bangles on Ankita's hands. Soham comes to the door to watch, hes shocked to see Archana doing the rasams for Ankita!

He is scared to see his mother and hides his face, then hides behind the door but peeps in furtively. Hes even more shocked to see Savita and Sulo Aaji blessing Ankita. Mansi and Sonu also put bangles on Ankita, Sulo, Savita and Teju are smiling. Soham is terrified and stumbles back, falls on the road and runs away.

He goes straight to the bar which he frequents, he asks urgently for drinks, then gulps down glass after glass. He takes a whole bottle and takes big gulps. The bar owner Sattaar asks him what is he doing? As it is business is not good, on top of that hes giving them trouble? Who will pay for all the broken stuff?

Soham stuffs some notes in Sattaar's hands and tells him to give more drinks. Soham drinks glass after glass like a madman as he remembers the Deshmukh family ladies at his house.

He thinks aloud, What did I just see? Where did they come from all of a sudden? Did they find out that Ankita is my daughter? But I escaped! Now I have to be very careful! I have to stay as far as possible from this wedding!

Meanwhile Ankita has changed into a yellow sari. Neighbourhood Kaki says now we shd start Ankita's haldi rasam. Mansi says, But Kaki, Archana Madam said that girl's haldi is done with the used haldi from groom's house. But that hasn't arrived yet from jeeju's house!

Rushali's voice comes from the door: Here is the used haldi!

She comes in with a servant carrying the tray of haldi bowl behind her. Prashant and Mansi go to the door and greet her.

Archana comes forward and stares at her. Rushali also stares at Archu and asks, You?

Archu folds her hands and says, Im Archana Deshmukh. Manav Deshmukh's wife!

Rushali says, Oh! But I thought u lived abroad? Archu tells her, Yes, true, we don't live here, we live in Canada. We just came here on some important business, and we met Ankita here. We are not related to each other, just our faces are similar to each other.

Rushali says, Ankita is getting married to my son, Naren!

Sulochana smiles, We know that! We met ur son at the temple yesterday.

Archu smiles, Yes, we have already met him.

Rushali says, I didn't know that! Anyway, it's a wedding so all of you must come, I am inviting you personally!

Archu tells her, you don't need to invite us, we are from the girl's side so we will definitely come! Probably u don't know yet, Ankita didn't get a chance to tell you in all this hurry.

Rushali asks, tell me what? Archu tells her, we are taking all responsibility for Ankita's wedding. I and Manav will do her Kanyadaan (giving away daughter in marriage)

Rushali is taken aback but smiles graciously.

Haldi rasams begin with Rushali applying haldi on Ankita using mango leaves. Then Archana, Savita, Teju, Sulo, Mansi even little Sonu take turns in applying haldi with mango leaves on Ankita's cheeks and hands.

Next morning at Ankita's house:

Everyone getting ready, Prashant is ready in a cream sherwani, he asks if Tayi is ready? Mansi is making Sonu's hair, she calls out to Anki asking if shes ready?

Bedroom door opens and Ankita comes out in a red sparkling lehenga and flower ornaments, she asks Mansi, how am I looking?

Mansi says, Youre looking very nice...the sisters hug.

Soham enters the house swaggering, he looks impressed and says, Wow, my daughter is looking like a Princess! May evil eyes be far away!

Ankita and her siblings look disgusted. Soham continues, Ankita, that Chandeya was telling me some rich people had come here? Who were they?

Ankita doesn't answer him and goes forward to leave, but he pulls her hand and yells, Hey Ankita! Im your father! Its my right to know...

Ankita cuts in, Your right? You know ur rights very well! But u don't know ur duties, do you? The things that u shd do as a father, some strangers are doing that for us! Aren't u ashamed of yourself?

Soham says, Yes, I know why they are doing that! They must have some selfish reasons, nobody does anything for free! And know one thing, they are not related to you in any way!

Ankita gets angry and blasts him, Not anyone of ours? How do u know that? Have u seen Archana Deshmukh? Have u seen anyone from her family? Then don't speak such rubbish! You don't know Baba, but I have felt this for the first time in my life, I never got this much affection from anyone else before that Im getting from that family! And ur saying they are nobody of ours? I didn't know them before, but when I came to know them, I felt we had someone who cared for us a lot! I just met them but still I feel this closeness, I don't know why... Youre right, we don't have any relationship with them but she looks exactly like me. So there must be some bond that has kept us tied together. Perhaps that's why shes getting me married, I don't know who she is to me but something is there. You call urself my father, by what rights do u call me ur daughter? My marriage was fixed but did u ask even once what ur duties were as a father? Did u ever ask what can I do for my daughter's wedding? You never asked that. Baba, a wedding house needs an elder to take responsibility for the wedding, u never thought once that ur daughter is alone, how will she take care of the wedding preparations? I and my siblings somehow managed the whole thing but you? You were not ashamed! You didn't come! And now ur saying we don't have relationship with anyone? By what rights? You don't have any rights on us! Im only happy abt one thing! When I leave this house after marriage, I wont go alone as I used to think before that I will be alone. The whole Deshmukh family will be with me, the family who formed new relations with me! Whether its of grandmother or grandfather, all relations! But u wont be there! God had pity on us so He sent Archana Deshmukh to us, that she will fulfil our needs for a family, she will take care of my siblings because we don't have a father! Do u know, Baba, the biggest gift in the world is giving away ur daughter in marriage but u have lost that right! Because now someone else will be giving me away. But it doesn't matter to u as u have become shameless!

Soham yells, Stop talking nonsense! You have sung enough praises of them! I told you already that those people are nobody of yours! NOBODY!

Ankita yells, THEN WHO IS THERE FOR US? YOU? YOU ARE THERE FOR US?

Prashant takes Ankita's arms and says, That's enough! Lets go! He pulls her away out of the house. Soham looks rather sadly after them.

Deshmukh chawl

Purvi is telling Archana that she doesn't want to go to the sangeet. Archu says, Why? Look Purvi, u told us abt Ankita and now if u don't come, how would it look?

Purvi asks, Ayi, tell me something! You came here so u can reunite me and Arjun?

Manav looks at them, Archu looks at Manav, then tells Purvi, Yes, we came here for that! Do u have a problem? Here, take this sari and change quickly. We have to go...its her sangeeet today!

Purvi tries to protest but Archu firmly says, I don't want to hear anything! Go and change quickly.

She shoves Purvi who leaves then. Archana tells Manav, why are u standing here listening to us?

Manav says, Archana, I was thinking if I don't come then...

Archu says, now what problems do u have, Manav? Do u also have problems with Arjun?

Manav says he has a problem with Rushali and Shirish Karmarkar.

He says, Archana, u know everything! Besides u all are going anyway and this Sangeet is mainly a women's function so it doesn't matter if I don't come along.

At Karmarakar House, Rushali and Shirish are having a similar conversation.

Rushali is telling her husband, It does matter, Shirish, it was necessary to invite the Deshmukhs so I did!

Shirish is angry, Oh come on, Rushali! Have u forgotten? Manav and Archana Deshmukh were our biggest business rivals at one time!

Rushali comes near him and tries to reason with him, I remember everything, Shirish! But right now we don't have any other option, those people are organizing Ankita's wedding. Even if we don't invite them they will still come to the wedding! How would that look?

In D chawl:

Archana is trying to convince Manav. She goes up to him and says, Manav, its no use to remember such old matters, its been 20 yrs, now forget abt all that! And anyway, we are going there for Ankita's sake! To get her married, to give her hand in marriage, think of all the good things, why are u thinking of the bad ones? I feel if we go there, perhaps Arjun and Purvi wil get another chance to come closer again. There is so much distance between them, we wil try to bring them together again!

Rushali is saying, Im ready to meet them, to talk to them. Anything! It doesn't matter to me if theres Archana there or Manav! Only thing that matters to me now is Ankita and Naren's wedding! So please..

Archu is saying, Manav as far as I know theyre very rich people! Still theyre getting their son married to a poor girl like Ankita! So perhaps they changed? And Im sure that Ankita will be very happy in their house!

Rushali is telling Shirish: you must understand that those people must be convinced that Ankita wil be happy here. The real reason behind this marriage shd never be revealed to them! That is very important to us! You understand that! So please just for a few days, keep aside all ur differences, your Ego! And just behave nicely with them! not for us, but for Naren!

Archu is telling Manav, Don't go for anyone else but Ankita and Purvi! You haven't seen Ankita yet, Manav, she looks exactly like me! You have to go and see her!

Manav smiles finally and says okay, Im coming. Archu tells him to get ready.

Naren is spraying perfume in front of his dresser, hes dressed in a black sherwani. Raunak comes and asks if hes ready?

Naren asks, How am I looking? Raunak says, Youre looking nice! Very good! He fixes Naren's pocket hankie. Naren asks if Ahana has come? Raunak says yes, shes here.

Naren asks how is she looking?

Raunak says, Of course shes looking nice! Mom gave her such expensive clothes and ornaments, anyone would look nice in those!

Naren gets serious, he says, Nobody else, only Ahana! Shes different! Very beautiful! Lets go!

Naren is walking off when Raunak mutters, Crazy guy! Naren stops, turns around and goes to him asks him angrily, What did u say? You called me Crazy?

Raunak gets scared and says no Bro, I didn't say that!

Naren says, Why are other people also saying this? Mom was saying, that day the doc also said the same? If Im mad, then why is Ahana marrying me?

Raunak sneers and says, For your money! She doesn't love u, she loves ur fame and ur bank balance! And u don't seem to understand this!

Naren slaps him hard! Raunak is shocked! Naren suddenly starts laughing and says, PJ! Do u remember in school whenever u made PJs like this, I used to slap you! Then u were little, but now ur tall so...

Rushali calls Naren, he says, Mom, Im coming! Raunak smiles and says, Ur very happy? Ahana is back in ur life, right?

He hugs his brother, Naren grins and hugs him back.

Raunak asks, U love her a lot naa? Naren shows by spreading his arms, how much he loves Ahana: Even more than this!

Raunaks says, Then take my advice! Always hold on to her! Don't let go of her! Otherwise she will run away!

Naren gets scared and asks, She will run away? Why?

Raunak tells Naren, because shes a woman! These women, u cannot trust them! today theyre in ur grasp and tomorrow they fly away! Theyre gone! These women are like horses, if you keep them bridled then they will remain faithful to you, otherwise they will leave you! So take my advice, keep her tied to you! Okay? Bye!

He leaves, Naren looks serious and thoughtful. He says, Tying her like a horse?

Sangeet Party:

Ankita and her siblings enter the party. Everyone stops talking and stare at her.

She goes to Rushali who welcomes them and tells her shes looking very beautiful. Rushali asks the kids if theyre enjoying their sister's wedding? She asks the older kids to feed the younger ones and tells Anki she wants them to meet some people.

Archana, Sulo, Savita and Purvi arrive at the party. Ankita and her siblings come and greet them. archu tells Ankita shes looking very nice!

Arjun, who is in a blue sherwani, looks at Purvi, she looks back at him. He goes towards the Deshmukhs, Sulo asks him how he is...he says hes fine, how is she doing?

He looks longingly at Purvi but she looks down and moves away. Arjun touches the 2 grandmothers' feet and takes their blessings. Archana tells the 2 aajis that shes going to talk to Rushali. She asks where is Rushali ji? Arjun points in her direction, Archu takes Ankita and goes there.

Manav arrives at the party with Teju. He stops short when he sees Ankita and stares at her with a bemused smile.

Arjun goes to where Purvi is standing chatting wth some lady. He goes up to them and says Hello to the other lady who nods and leaves. Purvi looks nervous, Arjun says Hi...she says Hi...Arjun says Thank you!

She looks up and asks, For what? He says, For coming to this party!

She nods and then moves away again.

Savita is with Teju, she has breathing problems and is saying, shes feeling suffocated because people put on too much perfume! She says, When people put on scent it shd be a little bit, then they are also happy, people who pass by them are also happy. But here it seems people didn't take baths so they poured the entire bottle of scent on themselves.

Teju laughs and says, Aji talk softly, what are u saying? Now leave all that! Let them put scent, whats it to us?

Savita says, shes suffering naa...she looks at Rushali who is standing talking to people. Savita comments on Rushali, Is that Ankita's mother in law? See how shes standing there, all dressed up like a TV lady, wearing huge jewelry! Back home, bullocks are given such big ornaments!

Archu smiles to hear that comment but quickly controls her amusement. Savita goes to her and squeezes her cheeks, saying, U were laughing naa? Did u see how she is? Archana, u are lucky!

Naren appears at the top of the stairs, he looks down and sees Ankita standing with her siblings talking. He smiles, song plays in the background: Sun raha hai na tu...

Naren tries to wave at her but she doesn't look up. He goes down the stairs. Sonu and Pranav run to him and hug him, screaming, Hello Jeeju!

He squeezes their cheeks and asks, Hello bachcha party! How are you?

Pranav talks abt games and Naren asks abt how hes doing in rubik's cube? Pranav tells him he didn't get to practice that as he doesn't have one. Naren says, Ohho why didn't u tell me before?

A waiter was passing with drinks, Naren calls him and tells him to get a Rubik's cube. The waiter says Sorry Sir! We don't have any item of that name in our menu!

Naren laughs, Not on the menu, its in my room, a Rubik's cube, bring it here.

Waiter hesitates, But Sir, Im serving drinks...

Naren takes the drinks tray from the waiter, says I will serve the drinks! Ill do ur job, u do mine, go quickly now.

Naren says, lets serve the drinks now, where did Ahana go?

Pranav stares at Naren strangely.

Naren is going around serving drinks to guests. Archana is fixing Teju's dupatta, she sees him and tells Teju, don't u think its rather strange? Why is he going around with a tray like a waiter? So peculiar!

Teju says, No I don't find it strange! In fact I like it! Such a big businessman but hes so down to earth and humble! Hes serving his own guests!

Naren suddenly sees Ankita and goes towards her. She sees him and hurries to him, pulls the drinks tray from him, Sir let go of this!

Naren doesn't let go of the tray, he says he has promised the waiter that he will do the waiter's job while he does Naren's. Ankita tells him to let go of the tray, she says she will serve the drinks.

Theyre having a tug of war with the tray when the waiter comes back with the Rubik's cube and Naren gives the tray to him.

Ankita turns to leave but Naren grabs her hand. He links his fingers with hers and tells her to stay there, near him. Ankita feels shy as he takes her hand closer to him.

She says, Sir please let go of my hand, today is our Sangeet so people will come to meet us. It doesn't look good!

Naren refuses, No I wont let go of ur hand. Ankita tries to pull her hand away forcibly, he keeps it imprisoned in his grip and doesn't let go. There is a tug of war again with her hand as the prize, he says, Ahana, I wont release ur hand, I just found out that a woman's tendencies are like a horse. And she shd be bridled like a horse or else she escapes. So I wont let you go!

Meanwhile Raunak has come near them and is watching them with a nasty smile.

Ankita says, Sir, what are u saying? Please release my hand!

Naren refuses again.

Raunak laughs and says, This is good! This madman has shown his madness again! Ankita Mhatre, the sound of ur slap is still echoing in my ears! But now is the time for me to give u a fitting reply! Without actually touching you, I will give u such slaps that their effects will be visible on ur face!

Ankita angrily tells Naren, First of all Im not a horse and not a thing that u can put a bridle on!

Naren suddenly sees someone he wants to greet and pulls Ankita alongwith him, with her hand still trapped in his!

Teju is talking to Archu, she looks at Arjun standing alone, then at Purvi standing apart. She tells archu, I think it was useless to bring Purvi along. Just see, let alone talk to each other, they aren't even looking at each other!

Archu says, Teju, I have a plan? Teju asks, Plan? What plan?

Archu looks around, says One second! She calls Savita and tells her something in mute. Savita grins and nods, looking at Arjun, does a thumbs up at Archu.

Then Savita and Teju go to the Karmarkars, Savita asks Rushali, I have a question, you spent so much on decorations, so much on food and drinks, invited so many guests!

Rushali smiles awkwardly and says, yes, its Naren's Sangeet today, so...

Savita exclaims, Its his Sangeet? But I cant hear anything!

Teju says, Yes, she means it's a Sangeet so its not any fun till we have some dance performances!

Rushali agrees and says, we have made all arrangements, just ...

Savita cuts in, I thought of an idea! Until the performers come, lets have a dance competition of girl's side vs boy's side. How is that?

Naren smiles, Nice, not a bad idea!

Savita asks, so who will start it? Teju says, Lets do a toss!

Naren says, No not a toss! We will start it, the boys side, and from our side...Naren looks around and spots Arjun. He yells, Arjun Sir!

Arjun comes over, naren says, Arjun Sir will perform, he will dance!

Arjun is startled, What? Perform for what?

Naren says, you will dance from the boy's side.

Arjun protests, Dance? Me? What...

Shirish says, What are u saying, Arjun? This is a question of the prestige of boy's side.

Rushali adds, You are Naren's friend, celebration shd start with you! Come on!

Naren, still holding tightly to Ankita's hand, cheers, Woo hoo Arjun! Yes! Now whos from girl's side?

Savita pretends to think, From our side? She looks around, then says, from our side, PURVI!

Arjun looks stunned, Archu smiles from a distance. Teju and Savita go to Purvi and tell her to come and dance.

Purvi protests, I cannot dance now...Savita sternly says, Don't throw tantrums! Take Bappa's name and enter the battlefield!

Teju says, Come on Purvi. Lets go...please! Bang on!

Purvi still says, Teju, I cant do it! Sorry! Please don't force me!

Purvi tries to leave but Archana blocks her way, Purvi tries to escape but Archu holds her arm, she asks her, If it was Pari's wedding, still u wouldn't do it? See Purvi, its Ankita's wedding and Ive taken all responsibility for it! So I want our whole family to fulfil this duty! Please!

Purvi nods and agrees with a smile. Archu tells her to go and do it...

First there is a bhangda type music and Arjun steps on the stage with a group of guys, Purvi steps onstage from the other side with a group of girls.

Then music slows down and starts playing: Tum hi Ho...

Arjun and Purvi are face to face, they circle around each other, then he moves his hand down her arm and holds her hand, lifts it and holds it in waltz style, he takes her other hand and places it on his shoulder.

They start dancing together while song plays...Hum terey bin ab reh nahin saktey tere bina kya wajood mera...

They move closer and circle around, he moves a strand of her hair, she looks at him and looks down. He looks at her, they circle around, he twirls her around, they do slow dancing.

Arjun is looking at her passionately, while she feels his passion and looks at him helplessly, falling in love all over again.

Other dancers come on stage and twirl around them while they dance in the center, lost in each other!

The song ends, everybody claps. Archu, Teju and Rushali, all are smiling with approval. Arjun and Purvi become aware of their surroundings and move away.

Naren is clapping with Ankita's hand in his, she flinches with pain.

Later, a girl comes up to Purvi and tells her she danced very well. Purvi thanks her and says Sorry she didn't recognize her. The girl tells Purvi shes Trisha, Prashant's friend. Shes come to Mumbai for studies so he invited her. She has reservations to go to Jhansi today but she thought she will wish Ankita didi so she came over.

Purvi smiles and tells her to attend the wedding too since she is already there.

Trisha (from new serial Doli Armaanon Ki) refuses as she has to go to Jhansi soon where her cousin Urmi is getting married and if she doesn't get there before Oli ki rasam, her cousin will literally kill her!

Purvi says, so its ur family wedding, then I wont stop you! I know family weddings are a lot of fun, so many preparations, so many rituals, functions, so much work to do...

Trisha says, I know, this is the biggest day in Urmi's life, I cant believe shes getting married, but I pray that her marriage is successful! Just like ur marriage!

Purvi get serious, she looks sad, Trisha says, Just like ur husband loves you a lot, I want my jeeju to love Urmi the same way! I haven't met my jeeju yet but Im very eager to meet him! Oh I forgot to bring invitation cards, but I will courier it to Prashant and you should come to Jhansi with ur whole family to attend my cousin's wedding! Urmi will be very happy to meet all of you!

Purvi smiles and says, I wil try to come!

Trisha says she has to leave or else she wil miss her train. But she tells Purvi no excuses, they have to come! Purvi nods and says Bye.

Shashank's bedroom, his phone rings

Its his friend Sunil who asks him where he was, he wants to meet, Shashank says he cant come as hes in Nasik, to cover the Mehta Builders story.

Sunil tells him that he has some information about the business tycooon Naren Karmakar on whom Shashank is writing an article. Shashank thinks Naren is the one whom Ankita is marrying!

Sunil asks him to check the video clips which he sent him. Shashank checks the vdo clips of the sagai party where Naren loses his mind after flashbulbs go off in the dark... Shashank exclaims Naren is mad.

Sunil says Naren has gone mad. The man they thought was a genius has gone crazy! Shashank says this why Naren was avoiding events, conferences.

Sunil says he will write a sizzling article after consulting the editor, but Shashank asks him to wait as he will check the facts. Sunil says he sent the facts like doctor reports and other info to him.

Shashank recalls about Ankita's words that she is going to marry Naren who will take care of her siblings. Shashank thinks he needs to talk to Ankita as he can't see her ruining her life.

Rachna from Sapne Suhane Ladakpan ke dances on the song O Radhe teri chunri...

Naren says boy's side will win only. He is still holding Ankita's hand. Ankita requests Naren to leave her hand as it is hurting. He leaves her hand but holds the other hand. She struggles and tells him she wont run away anywhere but he doesn't let go.

Mansi comes and gives Shashank's call to Ankita. Naren holds the mobile to her ear, she tells him a friend is calling.

Shashank tells Ankita that Naren is mad, hes mentally unstable and she can't be happy with him. She disconnects the call saying she couldn't understand what he is talking about. Naren asks her to invite her friend. She tells him Shashank was out of town, he cant come. She begs Naren to let go of her hand. She looks sad.

Arjun is looking at Purvi. Archana comes and tells him that she is taking Purvi to Canada.

Arjun asks, why you are taking her to Canada?

Archana tells him to stop Purvi. Can he stop Purvi? She says she had seen Purvi crying all these years, everyday, she has seen her pain.

Archu says, do u know I came to India to reunite the two of you? But I don't think u need Purvi anymore.

Arjun says, What are u saying, Ayi? Ask Purvi, she said she didn't want to come back to me.

Archana says, She just said that, right? Did u see in her eyes what she really wanted to say? Did you try to know her the reason behind her No? If u could, then this wouldn't be happening...

Archana leaves, Arjun looks at Purvi with longing.

Sulochana and Savita dance on a Marathi Lavni song. Purvi smiles watching them dance, Arjun watches her smile. Arjun messages Purvi asking her to meet him.

The Aajis pull Rushali on the stage and make her dance which she does rather stiffly and unwillingly.

Next performance is by Zoya of Qubool Hai fame. She dances on the song Mera aashiq jhalla wallah...Everyone applauds for her performance. Raunak looks very delighted.

Arjun is waiting in another part of the house. Purvi comes to Arjun and asks about the message. Arjun gets a phone call and he says he will come for the meeting. Purvi asks, where is he going. Arjun says he has to attend some meeting but will be back to attend the wedding. After all, its Naren's wedding, so...

Purvi says she wasn't talking about Naren. Arjun asks her what has decided about going back to Canada? Are you going back? Purvi nods with tears in her eyes.

Arjun says he can't live without her.

Purvi is crying and says she also can't live without him while the song Dil kyun yeh mera shor kare plays in the background. Arjun tells her please don't go! Arjun and Purvi hug each other emotionally and cry.

Archana sees them together and smiles. She thanks Ganapati Bappa for uniting Arjun and Purvi. She says, My child got back her husband, her family, Pari got back her father! God bless them always!...Archu leaves from there.

Arjun wipes her tears, she wipes his. They hug again and cry copiously.

Tanveer of Qubool Hai dances on the song Mera Ghagra...from YJHD.

Savita tells everyone that her bahu Archana will dance now. Archana says she can't dance in this age but then she looks at Purvi and says today she will dance as shes very happy. She tells Savita that the work for which they came to India is done.

Archana and Ankita dance on the Marathi wedding song from English Vinglish. Ankita signals her siblings to join her. They come and all of them dance together. Then they do a group hug, Ankita cries emotionally.

Archana looks at them happily while they were dancing. Sulochana cries with happiness. Naren gives her a tissue and says you will win next time. Sulochana says shes crying with happiness. She asks him to take care of Ankita. Naren says he will take care of Ahana and will keep her tied to him. He asks her to come for the wedding. Sulochana feels he is strange.

Wedding day:

Ankita is getting ready for her Wedding, Mansi is making her ready. Prashant comes and compliments her. Pranav congratulates her and gives her a We will miss you card. She hugs them. Prashant says lets leave.

Soham comes and asks them to stop for a minute. He gives her something and asks to open it. Ankita opens the box and finds Ganapati idol. Soham says he brought it with his hard earned money. He asks her to keep it always for a blessed life.

Ankita asks him to come for her marriage. She says you gave birth to me and I don't want someone else to do my kanyadaan. It is your right and you have to do it. She requests him to do kanyadaan. Soham looks helpless but blesses her.

Archana and Sulochana come to the wedding venue and Archana praises her beauty. Sulochana gives the traditional gift of a nose-ring to Ankita who puts it on.

Archana says she got shawl for her bought from a holy place just as Sulo had bought the one she wore in her marriage. Ankita gets emotional, she wears the shawl.

Archana sees the Ganapati idol in the box and asks Ankita abt it.

Ankita says her Baba gave it to her. Ankita says she gave the same Ganapati idol to Soham. Sulochana says there must be many such idols like that. Archana thinks she is wrong to think abt Soham.

Shashank calls Ankita and asks her not to marry Naren. He asks, why do you want to sacrifice your life? She disconnects the call. Mansi comes and asks her to keep her and Prashant's phone with her. Ankita takes their mobiles and switches them off. Shashank thinks he will stop this marriage anyhow. He calls Prashant's number but cannot get through. Ankita thinks she will get married to Naren under any circumstances.
