Pavitra Rishta Written Update 25th November 2013

Ankita still pondering about the doctor saying that bright light and flashes affect Naren, then she remembers Rushali telling her that Naren called her Ahana because of stress. Then Rushali telling her how would she tell Ankita that her son was crazy and still she should marry him!

Mansi brings hot ginger tea for Would be Mrs. Karmarkar. Anki protests that why did she take the trouble? She would have made it herself.

Mansi says let me do it, after this you will get married, how can I go to Jeeju's house and do things for you? Now I got some time to serve you so let me do it. Tayi, Im so happy for u, you are very lucky, such a smart and brilliant husband ur getting, there are very few people like that in this world! And the best thing abt him is hes so down to earth inspite of being famous. But my Tayi is no less, that's why God gave her the best husband!

Ankita looks sad and depressed. Mansi notices her bangles on the bed and asks her why she took them off? Anki tells her that's shes not used to wearing such expensive things, I felt they were a burden.

Mansi smiles and says she shd get used to it now, at her in laws' place she would have to wear such finery.

Mansi starts gathering all gifts and jewelry from bed when Anki says she has to tell Mansi something.

Mansi says yes tell me Tayi...

Ankita just going to tell her when Soham's voice is heard calling all his kids to come and see his daughter's photo in the newspaper.

Soham is yelling and showing Ankita and Naren's photo to Mansi, then shows it to Sonu, telling her that her sister is going to be Queen of 1000 Crores.

Soham tells Ankita, Look at this photo!

Mansi who went to the cupboard to put away Ankita's gifts finds all her jewelry boxes empty! She goes to Soham and asks him where are all the jewelry given to Tayi from her sasural?

Soham wasn't listening, Mansi yells at him, that shes asking him something, where are all the jewelry from Tayi's in-laws? You took those too? Baba, those were her engagement jewelry (shagun)

Soham yells at her, Talk to me with respect! Im not that horrible that I will run away with my daughter's shagun jewelry! Those jewelry was just lying around so I put them in a box!

Soham goes to a cupboard and takes out a candy box and gives it to Mansi. She tells him he didn't have to worry abt them, there are many people in the house to take care of them! You stay away from them!

Soham yells, Okay, I wont! Shes talking too much! They think Im a thief!

Soham angrily picks up the newspaper, goes outside and flings the paper down! He sits down and grumbles that he wont steal his daughter's jewelry!

Then he looks around stealthily, opens his shoe and takes out a small piece of jewelry, an ear ring probably. He looks at it with delight and says, Wow, what a piece! This will pay for my whole month's quota of drinks! That too imported!

Kirloskar House

Arjun returns home, calling Tina, she comes and asks him where he was as she was trying his phone for a long time.

He apologizes that he was in a meeting and there was no network there so...forget abt it!

He gives her a gift bag, she sees inside it and yells Cell Phone? He says yes!

Tina thanks him profusely, Arjun asks her, do u like it? But u have to promise me that ur studies wont get disturbed because of this! You have to do good in ur studies and be the same way!

Tina promises. Her grandma, the Housekeeper comes and tells Arjun why did he bring the cell phone for Tina?

Arjun says, if I don't bring a cell phone for her then for whom will I get it? You wont use a phone. And this is between me and her, you don't say anything! Or else you and I will have an argument!

Tina says she will go and check out the features on the phone and she leaves.

Arjun asks the Housekeeper why she worries so much, Tina is a kid, and he does all this for his own happiness! Who else is there in his life other than her?

Arjun sits down wearily on the couch. The Housekeeper tells him there is someone who cares for him, who thinks abt him! There is someone to whom it does matter if hes alone or not...

Arjun asks, Really? Who is that person?

The auntie says, I was calling u repeatedly to tell u abt her...she came home today!

Arjun asks, who came home? Housekeeper says, Purvi! The same Purvi abt whom you talked everyday! Purvi is like this, shes like that, Purvi is nice, Purvi is beautiful...and so much more!

Arjun looks surprised and excited, he asks, Kaki, Purvi came here? She came here...then what did she say?

Kaki says, she said that she came here to meet Ovi...what name did she say? Oh Yes, Ovi!

Arjun looks agitated and asks, What did u tell her?

Kaki says, I told her, nobody called Ovi lives here...

Kaki tells Arjun to relax, shes getting tea for him. Kaki was leaving but Arjun stops her and asks if Purvi said anything else?

Kaki says, nothing else and she leaves.

Purvi still sitting on the steps of the Children's park, calls Arjun. He answers his phone at once, Yes Purvi? You came home, did u need something?

Purvi tells him she wants to meet him.

Arjun says, Of course we can meet, tell me where u want to meet me?

She asks if she can go to his house? If he doesn't object...

He says, of course she can come, he will wait for her.

Ankita's house:

Mansi and Sonu are running around playfully, when they see Naren and Rushali at the door. Sonu says, Jeeju?

Naren asks, You are Ahana's younger sister, Sona?

Sonu says, Not Ahana, Im Ankita Tayi's younger sister.

Ankita hears them from the kitchen and comes out.

Rushali sees her and says, Im really sorry! We came unannounced but Naren was insisting so I ...

Ankita looks upset but doesn't say anything. Naren looks delighted to see her.

Mansi tells Rushali, No please don't say that, now ur a family member, u can come anytime u want!

Rushali is repeatedly glancing at Ankita to gauge her reactions and mood. Mansi asks them to come in. Pranav and Sonu hold Naren's hands and pull him to the couch. They sit down.

Naren looks at Ankita, suddenly he gets up, goes to her, shes backing away from him, but he hugs her tightly, she looks uncomfortable, her siblings look taken aback. Rushali tries to smile.

Naren tells Ankita, I was missing you so I came just like that!

She doesn't say anything, looks awkwardly at him. Naren turns and goes to the kitchen. He goes and looks into all the pots and pans and pressure cooker looking for something (lauki?)

Rushali gets alarmed and follows him to the kitchen. Ankita is smiling awkwardly and asks him whats he looking for?

Naren searches all over the kitchen then comes out and asks Ankita, didn't u make any vegetables? Lauki curry? I told u naa...I really love it!

Mansi and Prashant and the kids are looking amused at Naren's behavior. Mansi says, This means Jeeju came all the way here to taste Tayi's Lauki sabzi? How cute naa..

Ankita smiles awkwardly and tells Naren, No but I will make it right now!

Rushali says Let me go and help you!

Ankita tells her no that wont be necessary. Mansi come and help me..

Rushali stops her and says, Helping is just an excuse as I need to talk to you! Lets go?

Ankita and Rushali go to the kitchen, Naren sits down on the sofa with the kids and gives them candy. The kids are very happy, Naren asks them how is it?

Prashant suspects something is wrong and looks at Ankita inside the kitchen. Shes thinking to herself that till now nobody at home is suspecting that Naren is crazy, but if they come to know then...I don't know how they will react?

Rushali tells Ankita that they came there without calling, but Naren was insisting a lot.

Naren is playing with Rubik's cube. He tells the kids he does timepass with that cube. Do u want to see how fast I can do this?

The kids nod and say yes, Sonu says, with ur eyes closed! Naren says eyes closed? He closes his eyes and solves the cube within a few minutes. Mansi smiling at his expert technique. Pranav says whats so great abt this? I can do it too!

Naren asks him, Really? He messes up the cube again and tosses it to Pranav, who starts solving it right away.

Ankita is working in the kitchen, Rushali tells her, Yesterday u left without saying anything. Now you know everything abt Naren. So at least I hope that whatever decisions u make will be done with some understanding of the situation.

Pranav solves the cube and gives it to Naren who pats him on the back and says, Wow, ur also very intelligent! But it took 4 and a half mins.

Pranav says, I need at least that much time, Jeeju!

Naren says, Now lets see how fast I can do it with my eyes open! One, two, three!

He does it superfast, Prahsant and kids watch him with smiles, Naren finishes it and says Yes! Exactly 30 seconds!

Pranav says, Wow Jeeju, ur a Genius!

Prashant whispers to mansi: Manu, Jeeju is quite a Genius! But don't u find his behavior strange?

Mansi says, Strange? I think hes very unpredictable! Nobody can judge him easily. But I like him, hes so pleasant, always smiling! I think he will always make Tayi laugh.

Naren has given the cube to Pranav again and times him, does a countdown alongwith sonu, Pranav cant do it in 30 seconds, Naren laughs like a kid, takes the cube and says, Time Up!

Pranav says, Once more! Naren says, Okay, start it again, Ready?

Rushali and Ankita come out of the kitchen, Anki is carrying a bowl of lauki curry, she calls Naren Sir!

He rushes to the table and sit down, Anki has made lauki curry and a cup of tea with it. He eats the curry with great relish and drinks the tea.

Ankita looks disturbed to see his enthusiasm, he suddenly tells her, Give me ur hand! Shes surprised but holds out her hands. He kisses both her hands and says, Fabulous! She looks embarrassed and pulls her hands away.

Naren says, Ahana, your cooking talent is magical!

Sonu pipes up, No, shes our Ankita Tayi! Narens stops eating and looks at Sonu, says, This is my Ahana!

Sonu yells, Its Ankita Tayi! Naren getting angry says, I told u this is my Ahana!

Sonu again says, Ankita! Naren says, This is AHANA!

Rushali and Ankita can see things getting out of hand, Rushali intervenes and tells Sonu, Let me tell u why ur Jeeju calls ur Tayi as Ahana. She takes Sonu to the couch and sits down. She tells Sonu, when ur Naren Jeeju was a child, then he had a friend named Ahana. He liked her a lot, he liked her name too. So he used to tell me when I grow up and get married I will call my wife Ahana. With affection! Like what do people call u with love? Sonu? But ur name isn't Sonu, is it? What is ur name? Sonali! But calling u Sonu doesn't change you, does it? Just like that, ur Tayi is still ur Tayi whether shes called Ankita or Ahana! Okay?

Mansi is smiling away at Rushali's story but Prashant whispers to her that he didn't get the meaning of the story. He couldn't digest what Jeeju's mother just said.

Mansi tells him, whats so strange abt this? I found it very cute! Just think, Jeeju had already decided Tayi's pet name even before wedding! Its so cute naa..

Prashant says, Its possible! But I will definitely talk to Tayi abt this!

Rushali overhears him and quickly gets up and goes to Naren who is scraping the bottom of the bowl, finishing up every morsel of the lauki.

Rushali tells Naren, its getting late and we have important meetings so lets go?

Naren finishes the food and says Okay, he tells Ankita to bring lauki the next day for tiffin as well. Ankita agrees. Naren and his mom leave after saying goodbyes to everybody.

They go out to their car, Ankita and the kids wave to them. Ankita is lost in her thoughts!

Kirloskar House

Arjun is waiting for Purvi, leaning on a pillar near the front door. He sees her coming and hurriedly opens the door. She looks at him with questions in her eyes. He looks away, then steps back to let her enter.

She comes inside, he asks her to sit, I will get something for you!

[Middle part of ArVi scene got edited out in video]

Purvi is shaking Arjun's collar and yelling, Answer me damnit! Im asking u something! Pia is ur daughter naa?

Arjun admits, Yes, Pia is my daughter!

Hes walking away but Purvi grabs his arm and asks, This thing happened after our marriage, right? Even after our marriage, u and Ovi...

Arjun looks cynical, I don't believe this! I cannot believe that ur talking to me today after 20 years and asking me this! Then let me tell you for ur peace of mind that after we got married, nothing happened between me and Ovi. Whatever happened was before our marriage about which I didn't know anything! Ovi hid this truth from me! Then how did this happen?

Arjun asks, do u really want to know? But where were you when I was trying to tell u the truth everyday, I was begging u to listen to me just once? Do u remember that time when problems were going on between Manav Baba and Dad? I had to go to Canada for a meeting away from our happy go lucky kind of life! Remember that time? Then I met Ovi in Canada. And there was a baby with her, I didn't know whose baby it was...later on I found out Ovi hid this truth from me! And she told me not to tell u this secret! I wanted to share this with you, I wanted to tell u this secret but...my only mistake was telling you one lie that day at the hospital and that one lie separated us for an entire lifetime! This is the Truth!

Purvi has flashbacks of going to Canada house and seeing Arjun with Ovi and her baby, Purvi yelling and accusing Arjun that she knows abt his secret, abt his deception! Arjun trying to explain it to her but she yells ITS OVER!

Purvi tearfully asks Arjun, Where is Ovi now?

Arjun says, I don't know! Sometimes I get her phones, messages, but I don't know where she is...

Purvi grabs his coat and shakes him, Arjun, what do u think of yourself? You couldn't call me and tell me what was the truth? You did nothing! Just because of one misunderstanding, we stayed apart for 20 years, Arjun, TWENTY YEARS! You never thought that u shd meet me once, call me once? Its not just u and me who stayed apart, our child also suffered between us! I used to feel guilty abt my daughter but the biggest culprit is you! ARJUN YOU!

Arjun yells, SHUT UP! I TRIED TO TALK TO YOU...BUT YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME!

Purvi yells, YOU ARE LYING!

Arjun yells, IF I AM LYING THEN WE DON'T NEED TO TALK ABT THIS! YOU CAN THINK WHAT U WANT TO THINK!

He strides away but she grabs his arm again, One second! You cannot walk away like this! You have to answer my questions, Arjun! Tell me, why didn't u phone me? I kept on thinking that even if not me, at least u kept my sister happy! If not my daughter, at least u gave ur love and affection to HER daughter! BUT NO! YOU JUST CHOSE SOLITARY EXISTENCE FOR YOURSELF! You didn't fulfil ur promises to anyone! And today u snatched away even the hatred that I had for you, the hatred that gave me strength to go on in life!

Arjun yells at her, WHAT WOULD I DO? WHOM WOULD I TALK TO? EVERYTIME I TRIED TO TALK TO YOU, WHAT DID U DO? GAVE THE PHONE TO MANAV BABA! LET ALONE TALK, I CAME OVER TO YOUR HOUSE TO MEET YOU BUT U DIDN'T EVEN MEET ME! WHY? BECAUSE U HAD DECIDED THAT I HAD DECIEVED YOU! WHERE WERE U WHEN I WAS BEGGING U TO LISTEN TO ME, WHEN I WAS ASKING FOR A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN MYSELF? THEN U DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME?

He continues, And you used to love me, naa? Where did that love go? Where was the faith? You just saw me once with some other woman and u thought I had betrayed you? THAT'S IT? BOTH OUR LIVES WERE FINISHED?

Purvi cries, Couldn't u make another effort? What u told me today, couldn't u tell me 20 yrs ago? Why did u take so long to tell me the truth? Why did u take so long?

Purvi goes to him and shakes him again!

Arjun yells at her, Why did u take so long to ask me abt this, Purvi? TELL ME! Why did u take so long? And now ur asking me, after so much time has passed? Where were u then, Purvi? And I did try, everytime I tried, but u rejected me! Because of u I stayed away! Because of u, all this happened!
