Yeh Hai Aashiqui goes the experimental way; Shantanu and Vrushika lend voices https://www.tellychakkar.com/tv/tv-news/yeh-hai-aashiqui-goes-the-experimental-way-shantanu-and-vrushika-lend-voices-556
Yeh Hai Aashiqui, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions for Bindass, has recently kick-started the four week long mini-series titled Disaster'.
The maker will now experiment a one-of-its-kind concept by bringing in a very popular pair of television to lend voices to the leads in an episodic.
Yes, we are talking about popular Dil Dostii Dance pair, Shantanu Maheshwari and Vrushika Mehta. They will lend their voices to the love tale that would unfold amidst riots. As we have reported earlier, Harsh Rajput and Nida Chakraborty will be playing the leads in the story.
A source states, "This was a creative decision taken as an experiment. In fact, the actors playing the lead roles had few problems with the dialect; hence came the thought of trying something different. Shantanu and Vrushika, who play the popular pair of Swayam and Sharon in Dil Dostii Dance, were the immediate choice. And they readily agreed and dubbed for the actors."
How nice!!
When contacted, Shantanu told Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, I am thankful to Palki mam (Malhotra) for giving me this opportunity. In fact, dubbing is an art in itself, and I wanted to learn it. Must say, it was a tough task and it took quite a lot of time for me to dub the sequences. The most challenging part was that I was dubbing for the lead character in the episodic. Hence I had this huge responsibility of complimenting the actor's work with my voice. I hope I have done a decent job."
On Vrushika too lending her voice for Nida, Shantanu said, "Yes, we dubbed simultaneously, but in different studios (smiles). Viewers know us as the popular pair of Swayam and Sharon, but they would now be hearing to Shantanu and Vrushika's voices in this episodic."
This particular story will go on air on 22 June.
