Here is the detailed day wise box office comparison of Parineeti Chopra's third film Shuddh Desi Romance and her fourth film Hasee Toh Phasee
Hasee Toh Phasee - It is a joint production between Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Phantom Films. The movie starring Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra and Adah Sharma released on 1900+ screens. The film has been made on a budget of 25 cr( inclusive of all). The film surprisingly collected 25 % less Friday numbers to Shuddh Desi Romance which released in 2013. The film however showed very good growth over the weekend and collected good numbers at the box office but remained lower than Shuddh Desi Romance .
Shuddh Desi Romance:- The movie was made on a budget of 25 cr (inclusive of all) and was released on 1058 screens.The YRF production fared very well in the cities and multiplexes. The film clicked with the urban youth, and fared well even in some smaller cities. The film had a better first week than HTP in spite of releasing in almost 45 % less number of the screens than Hasee Toh Phasee. The film had a excellent run at the box office and collected 47 cr in its lifetime run and was a Hit.

The bio-pic on former captain Azharuddin, to be produced by Ekta Kapoor, is being done with the iconic cricketer's approval and active participation. Director Kunal Deshmukh and writer Rajat Arora are currently trailing Azharuddin and trying to collect as much first-hand information from the cricketer as possible.
Kunal has the daunting task of directing the bio-pic on him and is currently in a dilemma as to which episodes in the cricketer's life to assimilate into the screenplay. The conflict facing the film's creative team pertains to which stage of Azhar's life the film should focus on. If the screenplay finally opts to address the cricketer's younger days the actor likely to play him is Sushant Singh Rajput who comes from a family with a history of cricket. In his first film also he played a cricket coach.
However, if the film focuses on the later, darker phase of Azhar's life then Ajay Devgn is the actor most likely to play him.
Says a source close to the project, "Now that Azharuddin is on board, the screenplay has to tread cautiously. There are many controversies in his life. These would have to be left out or played down in the film."
Deshmukh says it's too early to discuss the details. "Right now the idea is to try and spend as much time with the man as possible. I am meeting him whenever he has time from Parliamentary sessions."
The After Hrs vote goes to... Aditya Roy Kapoor
Aditya Roy Kapoor might be a good option to play the ex-Indian cricket captain. He has the height and the built which is more similar to Azhar.
