Pavitra Rishta Written Update 28th October 2013

The episode starts with Ankita apologizing to Prashant for not telling him about Shashank as they have a right to know about each other's life. She tells Prashant she was afraid how he will react to the news. She says Shashank loves her and for for last 2 years he wanted to marry her.

Prashant asks, And you stopped him? Just because youre concerned about us? He is such a nice guy and u made him wait for 2 yrs! How long will u worry about us? Think of your own life too!

Prashant says he will be very happy if she marries Shashank. He tells her that if she waits for his job, Mansi's wedding, Pranav and Sonu's studies. then her age for marriage will pass. She should understand our lives don't depend upon others! Why does she want to sacrifice her happiness for her siblings?

Prashant asks Ankita to think abt herself, to move ahead in life and say yes to Shashank. This daily grind and running around that she does, she has to go beyond that and accept Shashank. Hes a very nice guy! He feels Shashank will keep her very happy. He asks her to think abt it.

Shashank comes and says he loves her because she never thinks abt herself and is caring towards her family. He wants her the way she is. He wants her to go on loving all of them but he just wants a little share of that love!

Shashank says he fell in love with Ankita not because of her beauty, but her loyalty, her nature! If she has to leave her responsibilities because of him, then he will never forgive himself. He would never want her to choose between him and her family. He wants her to look after his family as well as hers after marriage. He says he wants to bring his parents over to talk to Prashant officially about the marriage proposal.

Prashant says how can I talk to them?

Shashank says only you have the right to accept or reject this proposal, because for Ankita you are her parents. I want to take care of not only Ankita but all of you after marriage. Because after the wedding, her responsibilities will be mine, then her family will also be mine! Her brother will be my brother! Everytime a wife takes care of her husband's family, this time a husband will take care of his wife's family. Then what is wrong with that?

Prashant smiles happily.

Shashank says he will talk today and bring his parents. Let them also see what a wonderful bride he has chosen for himself!

Prashant smiles and asks Ankita if she is happy? She looks unsure. Prashant hugs Ankita.

Prashant tells her now please don't say no. After a long time, something good is happening at our home!

Ankita agrees finally but asks Prashant not to tell anyone at home,until everything is finalized, not even Mansi. Prashant agrees.

Ankita says she is getting late, she has to go to office and she tells Shashank she will meet him in the evening. She leaves, Shashank tells her to return early.

Shashank and Prashant hug each other happily.

Next scene: Arjun's office

Arjun is calling Purvi's number. Purvi hesitates to take the call.

Pari gets irritated and tells her to take the call. Purvi says it is not important.

Pari asks Purvi whose phone is it, Ayi? She takes the mobile from Purvi and asks her, you still have his number saved on ur phone? He treated her so badly, still...

Pari answers the call and says Mr. Arjun Kirloskar. Don't call my Ayi again after today, understand? You have ur own life, u have ur own family! Be happy with your wife and daughter. Why you are troubling my aayi after so many years?

Arjun is shocked and sad as he remembers cuddling little Pari in her infancy.

Pari tells him they are happy without him. She asks him not to trouble them.

Arjun looks tearfully at his phone after she hangs up.

Pari calls her assistant and asks her to book the tickets for Mumbai. She says she is going to India tomorrow and leaves.

Purvi looks disturbed and she calls Arjun.

Arjun thinks she is pari and says I love you, dear. He says he knows he didn't have any right on her. He didn't talk to her all these years but today hes saying it but believe it, he was helpless, he didn't want all this but...he wants to talk a lot to her today...

Purvi speaks up then and says Pari left from here. She then asks him if he found out anything about Ankita.

Arjun says yes and says she doesn't need to be worried as Ankita is not Soham's daughter. And shd doesn't need to know anything more from him, right?

Purvi asks Arjun to cut the call. Arjun says you can cut the call too. Both of them are crying silently, then Arjun disconnects the call.

Train from Vasai Rd to Churchgate

Ankita enters the office mumbling that shes late. She also has to leave early so God knows how she will do it and whom will she ask for this...

Shashank calls her, Ankita assures him she will return on time and not to take tension but now can she do her work, please?

She tells peon that she wants to go home early today as groom's parents are coming to see her. She asks, from whom to take the permission.

Peon says permission is given by Rashmi in HR Department, but since she is not here today, you have to talk to Arjun sir to get his permission. Because shes his PA and her leave will be sanctioned by him only. It depends on his mood also but she can try and talk with him.

Ankita thanks the peon, then wonders how to approach Arjun Sir...

Arjun is in his office, remembering Pari's harsh words to him. He looks at Pari's baby photo and kisses it. Ankita is outside his office and thinks how to tell Arjun sir that she needs to go home early after she came late?

Arjun sees her outside and comes out of his cabin. He asks her what is the problem?

Ankita says she wants to talk to him. Arjun gives her some files of a company and asks her to give him all the details. He tells her to do the job and not to roam around in the office. Ankita agrees and leaves.

Prashant is cutting onions and crying, Mansi returns with the kids and asks him why hes cutting all those vegetables?

Prashant tells her that Shashank is coming for dinner with his parents. Mansi asks, why?

Prashant says, Shashank did so much for us today, he helped with Pranav's school matter so its a thank you gesture. So he and Tayi planned to invite Shashank and his parents for dinner. That way new relations will be formed and friendship will thrive.

Mansi is very excited and says lets make masala bhaat, poori, sheera and alu sabzi for dinner and kanda poha for snack.

She asks Prashant to get ready and she will do all the work. Shes smiling as she works in the kitchen.

Sonu comes and asks, why you are happy? Mansi says she isn't happy but is in hurry to cook the food as Shashank and his parents are coming for dinner. They have to make preparations and take good care of the guests. She asks Sonu to get ready too.

She goes to her room, takes out Shashank photo and thinks she will win his parents hearts with her words, her behavior. She will get dressed as if they were coming to see her.

Ankita is stuck in the office as she is assigned the work by Arjun. She thinks she couldn't even tell Sir abt leaving early so how will she manage? Sir seemed so angry and all this work...she can forget abt leaving early..

She looks at the file, types Manav Deshumkh name on computer and gets information about him. Then she takes the printout of Manav, Purvi and Pari. She types Archana's name but just then her colleague interrupts her asking abt leaving early as boy's family was coming to see her?

Ankita doesn't see Archana's photo as she wasn't looking at the screen and its printed out on the printer away from the desk. She asks the other girl to get the printouts.

She gets Shashank's call, she tells him that she is busy with work and cannot come early. She tells him she has to find info abt a company named Trulogy. Arjun Sir gave her a lot of work. Meanwhile Archu's face is up on Ankita's screen but she doesn't look at it!

Shashank asks when will she come home? She says she cant say anything! She can be late, she begs him to manage somehow.

He tells her to manage somehow as he has already talked to his parents abt her. And they were coming today itself so if shes not at home, then...Ankita tells him she will try...asks him not to take tension and to tell Mansi to take care of everyone until she comes home.

Her colleague asks, did you talk with Arjun sir? Did he deny her request?

Ankita says she didn't even ask him as he seemed to be angry.he gave her lots of work so she cannot leave early.

Her colleague Usha asks her to go and offers to do her work. Ankita gives her all the printouts and Deshmukh file and asks her to give everything to Arjun Sir and manage the whole thing.

Usha asks her to go and not worry. Ankita thanks her and leaves. Suddenly it starts raining, Ankita worries how to go home as there will be too much traffic and she wont get train or taxi! Why does this always happen to her?

Usha says people say unseasonal rain is always good! Ankita says, yes, but not for me! I am leaving, today Im done for!

Ankita goes outside the office, its raining heavily. Ankita complains that unseasonal rains are not at all good for her, Shashank's parents have come and waiting for her, what will they think of her, shes so late? How will she go home in this downpour?

She sees 2 cars come inside the office gates and a guy gets down from one car. They just show his feet and hands.

Ankita looks at him and thinks who is he? Ankita looks at him as she crosses him. He glances at her and goes inside the office.

Next scene: Canada

Archana tells Purvi that it is good thing that Pari is going to India, why you are stopping her?

Purvi says Pari is going for business but shes afraid what will happen if Pari meets Arjun.

Archana says so what? Arjun is Pari's father! Purvi says Ayi u know how much Pari hates Arjun?

Archu tells Purvi that somewhere she must feel guilty that Pari didn't get her father's love because of her. But today she has a chance u can rectify ur mistake. So Im telling u to let Pari go to India and meet Arjun.

Archu suggests Purvi to inform Arjun that Pari is coming. Purvi is shocked how can she say that as Pari hates her dad and Arjun will try his best to meet her if he knows shes in India.

Archana says she didn't want her or Arjun to do the mistake which she and Manav did. She says after Manav left her she never called her kids to ask how they were doing? Because she thought her kids had forgotten her but she was wrong. Its possible that Arjun is happy in his life with Ovi, he has moved ahead but its also true that Arjun is related to Pari and she has the right to know him. Pari may hate him but still they are father and daughter! Once they come face to face then everything will be fine.

Purvi is lost in her thoughts.
