You know what is even more funny?

Purvi is not in Panchgani to either flirt with the pervert or throw herself at him. And she is doing neither so far. But she is being called all sort of names.

Her reason to visit Panchgani is Rishabh Kapoor, who according to her is capable of converting millions into billions and which in turn shall do wonders for their businesses. And Panchgani is where they can meet Mr. Kapoor. And Purvi is disgusting.

Purvi didn't know what Chadda was planning behind her back. She is neither a clairvoyant nor does she have a supersonic audio capabilities. Before he let it out from his own mouth, how did Purvi or even we audience know that Chadda had plans to take her to bedroom? But Purvi is already throwing herself at Chadda.

Purvi is not drinking to put "Arjun the lover" to unrest. She is doing all this because she wants answers to her questions. She's restored to alcohol after all the gentle measures to get answers failed. She had tried talking, persuasion, making enquiries with the doctors at hospitals and none of them yielded the desired result. And Purvi is not expected to behave this way since she is 40+

And Purvi is doing all this because she doesn't believe Arjun is married to Ovi.

While Arjun was married to Ovi, she left Mumbai ( I know there can be arguments that she did it to save her face). But the fact still remains that she neither tried to contact Arjun nor make a pass at him during that period. And I don't know how it is possible to remote control someone until one is a CHANDALIKA..

For the past 20 years while under an impression that Arjun is married to Ovi, she did not try even to talk to him, let alone make a pass.

No she doesn't need a psychiatrist to have let out her pent up feelings. She would need one if she would just believe in the charade and go according to Ovi and Arjun's plan especially after what she saw and Arjun made her believe.

For once Purvi is behaving HUMANLY and even psychiatrists encourage letting out and not bundling up.

And after bringing in so much turmoil in her life and playing with her emotions, why should she not feel desperation and anger towards Arjun? When she is in turmoil herself, how can she soothe her lover?

At least she had shown HUMAN tendencies for once.

But rather than lauding her for being REAL it is being said that since Purvi is showing these tendencies, she has become an egoist needing a psychiatric help?

Now this is FUNNY and absolutely PRICELESS...

Nothing human about madness , it needs treatment . Pari deserves neither the father who never bothered to see her nor such a mother who drinks and dances with sleazy guys to make married men jealous . She should , as she is grown up , opt to stay away from these dysfunctional loons who produced her accidentally and are incapable of parenting .

I don't see anybody defending Ovi helping Arjun into lying. Everybody is against it.. But some members can't see that. 😆

And there's nothing wrong with women drinking. I'm all for it. 😃 But if you're going to preach about how DRINKING in particular goes against your values, and then forsake those values when the man you love shows up.. just to get his attention.. you can only seem fickle. 😃 Shows how important those values are for you.. As stated in this thread, those values are just there to be thrown at the faces of men like Chaddha for the heck of it.. She doesn't really follow them clearly. 😆 Archana will definitely be proud. 😆
Ovi isn't a victim of Arjun's game. She willingly chose to continue it and she's wrong. But don't make Purvi seem like a victim too because she isn't. Either evil Chaddha imposed himself on her or she's drinking and dancing with him to make Arjun jealous. It can't be both. 🤔

Excellent post! Again, you summed it up nicely.

We are seen as blindly bashing Purvi and never criticizing Ovi. That only means that not all of our posts are being read properly and we ourselves are being labeled as "bashers".

But the truth is most of Ovi's fans consistently been against Ovi's participation in Arjun's obsession of hiding his illness from Purvi.

And the reason why Purvi is picked apart is ONCE AGAIN because of the words that come out of HER OWN mouth. Continually this woman has claimed to be oh so noble and sanskaari. Good intentions only seems good for the first few times but ring hollow once they cause destruction in so many people's lives.

In the current situation, again, Purvi claimed to be a person whose values are so important to her that she can't take a drink yet the values went to garbage as soon as Arjun showed up. What does that say about her character? Opportunist? Indecisive? Hypocrite? Liar?

It's always been clear that Ovi is not a goody-two shoes. Ovi has done some horrible things and continues to make mistakes. The difference here now is that she doesn't preach about sanskaars and bhalayi every five minutes and doesn't hide behind the facade of "good intentions" when her obviously stupid ideas fail.

You guys have covered most everything so no need for me to put my input. But I will say this...
What is the need for Purvi's speech against drinking? Making any women who chooses to drink un-sanskari. I hate this type of shallow mentality. Her father-in-law, Arjun - they all drink. It seems so out of place for Purvi to be shaming it and elevating herself to the status of sankari goddess. Which is fine but the fact that only a day after she chose to toss those sanskars just for the sake of a petty romance. Sure says a lot about her character. Remember here- no one is criticizing her drinking but rather her hypocrite nature. If others do it, they're unsanskari, if she does it - it's fine. What kind of logic is that? She's the biggest hypocrite I've seen on indian tv.

I absolutely agree with "not possible when you set your mind against a charcater" . Thats what it comes down too. It's not about right or wrong... Its just the absolute hatred towards a charcter and the daily uncontrolled fanatic bashing. The critism ship sailed a while ago.

When ovi tried making Arjun jealous she was 20 -.-
Purvi was aware of Chaddas intentions Arjun told her to not go
If she really wanted the deal to go through she could ask Arjun to set it through but she wanted to lure Arjun in
And then even got the same house as him
Whatever happened to shame in this world 😲
When ovi was drinking away in pregnancy she did it in depression or frustration and that was 22 years back at least
And ovi never lectured anyone about values associated with drinking 🤣
Mata purvi did hence she receives flak
And as for the fan girl comment , when you are in your teenages you can do stupid things but a 40+ woman knows the man is a flirt and drinks in his presence and even dances so she can make her ex jealous wth what and how can someone defend this action
Not a single ovi fan wants her to help Arjun and we know she is wrong living with him in his house and we admit it and if it were ovi today we would say the same
But purvi fans can only attack ovi and her 22 year old actions and not come up with reasonable arguments 😆

Very well put and precisely my sentiments

who told her to put the ladies who drink down

number one hypocrite

Pari , Archana and Sulochana ...all 3 should have been there to see her roop ...the latter 2 think she is a personification of their sanskaars and Pari thinks she is the best mom on earth

Well we all know that Purvi inherited the self-righteousness from Archana, but poor girl has a hard time living up to it.
I was shock that such a sanskari girl could have brought up such an ill-mannered girl. She has absolutely no manners, what a spoilt brat. Well, like Mother like daughter.

When she was telling her daughter bad things about Arjun and Ovi, did she tell her that originally she was partly the cause of Arjun and Ovi break up in their teens?

Did she tell her daughter that after, she found out that Ovi was to marry Arjun, she still wanted the relationship with Arjun and waited for Arjun to break up with her, even after she found out she was her supposed sister, the real daughter of the woman who took her when she was an orphan and raised and loved her as her own, more than her own children?

Did Sanskari Mommy Dearest Purvi let her daughter know that she was the one who made her Dad have sex with Ovi in the first place, why they ended up with not only one but a second child?
Bet Sanskari Mommy Dearest Purvi never told her daughter her dirty secrets till date.

She just sits on her throne and cast blame and judgement on others, and chant day in day out how Perfect and Sanskari she is. She is the victim everyone else is the villain!

You guys are so right she is nothing else but a hypocrite, that best describes her.
