If she would have shown that, how would she be able to show Pari hating her dad, Purvi hating Arjun, all of the Deshmukhs hating Arjun and all those problems that would crop up after they come face to face all of a sudden? Where relations would change, new sacrifices will be made etc. It is like the only way her stories can move forward. Unfortunately, people watch all this.
On top of that, I think she loves separating her lead couples. Unfortunately she gets TRPs using these lame and ridiculous story lines where there is no law, no math and no logic. Everything just happens. Sigh

I get what you are saying. But the fact is that they could have played the business conflict angle up and created a situation where Purvi and the Deshmukh family feel betrayed by Arjun. This way, they could have still achieved the same hatred drama! This whole thing with Ovi simply makes no sense. If Purvi's character had been kept consistent, she should have volunteered to sacrifice her life again for Ovi and Pia, not hate them and cause them to be cut off from the family. The grounds are so flimsy that I simply cannot understand how a strong plot can be fashioned out of it. However, Ekta hardly cares!
