Please re-watch the scene when Ovi slaps Purvi when Arjun declares he loves Purvi. You don't need to forcibly push someone away, actions speak louder than words, her insecurities made her insanely jealous, and her drinking binges proved that. How on earth did Ovi "cast aside Pari like a rag doll?" Pari's biological parents are alive and well enough to take care of her. She gave her back to her parents. If she had refused to let go of Pari, then the same people who call her horrible names for not wanting to keep Pari will still continue to hate for "keeping Arvi's pyar ki nishani" away from them only because she is Ovi.

If anything, I'd say Purvi is the one who cast aside Pari like a rag doll since the day she was born and continues to do so today. She's always too busy interfering in other people's matters and providing her unneeded advice to ever properly care for that baby. Hell, the thought of putting her child's life at risk didn't even cross her mind when she harboured her criminal brother.

Cannot imagine how it is arjun's child ovi is carrying as I never saw her in PR pregnant and she is back and forth between canada and india. At no time she was show even a little fat or wearing loose clothing. the only thing that link her child to arjun is the one night that the CV's show her and arjun spending together before she left for canada. other than that nothing else linked the baby to Ovi. I was completely floored with the revelation of ovi's daughter.

Ekta grew up in Bollywood where cheating spouses, multiple marriages and divorces, having kids with different wives is quite common.

Her father Jeetendra also acted in those South movies in the 80s in which the hero usually had 2 wives and numerous kids with them! We used to laugh at those silly movies(Worst phase of Hindi movies)... but if Ekta grew up watching all that, its entrenched in her brain and she can only think of these setups only! A guy having kids by different women, having multiple wives, etc.

I wont be surprised to see it in PR as it also happens in some parts of the african and muslim world. But its does not makes it acceptable. I dont see purvi leaving arjun now for him to marry ovi again as purvi already has pari and now pregnant with another child. By all means she should not as Ovi and arjun were married before and having relations. so if she found out ovi was pregnant and now has arjun's child, it should be ok with her. In terms of working things out for arjun to have his other daughter or leave her with ovi is what should create some concerns.
