Ovi/Onir are much better people than Arjun/Purvi

Ovi - In my honest opinion she is most realistic person out of these four. Ovi fought for who she loved. Her only mistake to this day was the deal she came up with. But after that she has only suffered and suffered. She paid for her mistake. She lost her baby, thrown away callously by Purvi and Onir. She lost her relationship.

But what does she do next? She grows up! She realizes her mistake. She DOES something DIFFERENT and walks away. She learns from it and matures as a person. Ovi's transformation has been great to watch. She is a very loyal person and loving to her family. She is a person I would like to have in my corner.

Onir - We all know the great lengths this guy went for Purvi the mahaan. He lost his career on her insistence to swap babies. But I hold him accountable for that too. He should never have listened to Purvi. However, he also stepped out of the way once he realized Arjun and Purvi "PREM" 🤢.

Arjun - The less said about him the better. What a confused and cowardly character. Purvi gives him pyaar ki kasam and he agrees to marry Ovi. And he claims all the time he tried to keep Ovi happy...blah blah blah BS. I know I don't believe he truly tried. He was day-dreaming of Purvi, named the daughter he thought was HIS AND OVI'S after what he and Purvi decided. If you love Purvi, stand up, admit it, and fight for her! Don't give into her nonsensical whims. OH let's not forget how easily he slept with Ovi, more than once! Yet claims to love Purvi eternally. *gag me*🤢

PURVI - Unarguably one of the worst "lead" characters I have ever seen in my 10 years of watching indian TV shows. I find no redeeming qualities in this girl. She has done nothing to prove the good intentions she claims to have. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Her actions have caused nothing but pain to so many people (Ovi, Arjun, Onir, HER BABY!, Archana, Manav)

People call Ovi words like stubborn, entitled, whiny...well guess what, in my opinion these perfectly describe PURVI. She is the stubborn one. Once she decides some stupid lie or scheme, she INSISTS others comply with it. She feels entitled to make decisions for OTHER people's lives! Whatever she decides, she is so stubborn and whiny and melodramatic about it in order to convince Arjun and Onir to follow it. At least Ovi learned from her mistakes and rectified them, Purvi hasn't learned anything! Her God-like complex did not change and kept repeating the same mistakes.

Let's not forget how she treated Onir. She took everything possible from him and when the trouble came from his side, she ran! She ditched him without any trust in him. She doesn't have any faith in Onir after all he did for her. She didn't give him the benefit of the doubt and try to find out that PERHAPS there are some extenuating circumstances which are causing Onir to put up a farce of a previous marriage. No she RAN.

Because this is a show where pathetic characters like Arjun and Purvi are the leads, we know they will end up together. It sucks that Ovi and Onir will not be left with anything. But at least Onir and Ovi will be left with something very valuable - RESPECT and DIGNITY. Too bad I don't see Arjun or Purvi having either of these.

These are just my opinions.

Thank you for this post. I completely agree with all that you said.

I feel sorry for both Ovi and Onir. But I am also happy cos Ovi deserved someone much better than Arjun and Onir deserved someone much better than Purvi. I always wanted ArMan to be Ovi's strength in the ordeal she was going through and for Archana and Ovi to bond together finally, but after yesterday's episode when the family let Ovi live in a hotel rather than sorting out an alternate arrangement of being fair to both the daughters, I am happy she is out of that house as well. It is better to be without a family than to be with one who considers you a burden to their happiness. It was sick.

I know Onir has made a grave mistake in listening to Purvi and doing the baby swap but a part of me still cant help hoping for his license to be restored in some miraculous manner bcos he was a good doctor, working for the poor and all that, and also supposedly one of the best gynaecs in India.

I agree with you too! Archana's impartiality is so obvious. What a horrible mother. She claims to be "conflicted" among her two daughters, but it's so obvious who she favours more. It's sad though that Ovi has never had a true mother. And all of Archana's qualities have been passed on to Purvi, except Purvi takes them to the extreme and is much worse than her.

It is actually Manav who disappoints me more. When Archana roots for Purvi so strongly even when she is in the wrong and claiming that she needs support, then why can't Manav root for Ovi claiming that she TOO needs support? At least in Archana's case there is the excuse that she is closer to Purvi cos she spent all these years with Purvi, and so Purvi will always be more special to her yada yada, but then why is the same behavior not extended to Manav? How Manav favours Purvi- (child who was adopted without his knowledge and about whom he did now know all these years, with whom he has been for over a year only), over the child whom he literally brought up protectively on his own like a mother and father, it really leaves me stumped. Most unnatural thing they are showing in this show. Yes there are a large number of people in the world who treat their adopted children same as their own children, but in case of Manav and Purvi they have been together for so less time, it is incomparable to the protectiveness and closeness that one can imagine would be there between Ovi and Manav.

in case of a situation like this Manav should have been shown to vehemently protect his daughter Ovi like he did when the news came out first that Purvi Arjun were going to get married. He did not shun Purvi off at that time, since she regarded him as Baba, he lived up to that respect by sending her gifts etc but he stayed firmly by his daughter ovi's side who needed him much more at that time. It would have come across as more realistic.

What they are showing now is totally out of sync.

Agree with your post ..I never used to like Ovi before but I can't help admire the dignified way Ovi is handling this whole situation in her life ... She has been completely replaced everywhere even in her own family ...how could her parents allow her to stay in the hotel alone when she is going though this divorce process ..I found Manav and Archana heartless the way they are overlooking Ovi's pain ... And look at Teju, she does not give a damn if Ovi is dead or alive ..
I respect Ovi a lot more now after seeing the way she is handling this situation, without any dramas or acting mahaan or anything like this ..
Onir , the most unlucky and most unfortunate character of all...What this man was at the start of his character and look at him now ...His love for Purvi has totally destroyed him ..If this is what love does then I would not wish love to anyone ...the writers have made Love look like the most unfair and terrible thing in this world ...
I also hope that at least his lisence is allowed so he should start helping poor people and get involved in his charity work ...
Purvi's decisions and her mahaanta has destroyed way too many lives , worst of all the life of a good doctor who used to help needy and poor people ...

Onir is a nice guy, agreed. But just because Miss. Ovi realises her mistakes in ONE day, so she's become good? HOW? 🤣
Explain to me once, as to what "good" has she done to anyone of Arjun or Purvi? The woman has always been selfish and mentally sick. She only and only cared for her feelings and not what Arjun or Purvi think or feel? If Purvi wasn't a good person why would she sacrifice her true love and give him away to Ovi?
Same goes for Arjun, why would he listen to Purvi? even despite NOT loving Ovi, he made sure to keep her happy, but she always assumed and jumped into conclusions. She's basically the "bad" one FYI 😊
Also, if Shruti wasn't leaving PR, ekta would have still been showing a selfish, and immature Ovi.

According to me Ovi is a sick, very selfish &stubborn person. Purvi & arjun were madly in luv
knowing all that she cracked the deal with Purvi at that time she neither cared for her
parents happiness nor she cared for Arjun's feelings. For her Arjun was a winning trophy
whom she wanted to possess by hook or crook. No sane real person would behave
how Ovi has behaved.Manav described Ovi rightly in yesterday's episode. So even her
parents know she was wrong.

Last time I checked, Ovi simply proposed the deal. She did not hold a gun to either Purvi or Arjun's head or force them in any physical way. And it was ultimately PURVI who convinced Arjun, NOT Ovi.

Ovi, Arjun, and Purvi were ALL equally responsible for the mess that was the marriage deal. Ovi was wrong for proposing the deal, Purvi was wrong for accepting it and giving Arjun her so called "pyaar ki kasam", and Arjun was a wimp in agreeing to Purvi's whining and incessant crying.

While Purvi has Archana in her corner Ovi has none coz her stupid dad is hormonal at this age and simply looks at Archana's thobda .

She lost there .

And hence the tragedy of her life , all bcoz of stupid stupid Manav .

Archana can bring Soham without asking anyone as it is his home too but Manav can't bring his daughter from the hotel saying she won't move out , its her home . instead its hi time Arjun takes HIS daughter to HIS home .

You know what the irony is

Archana's decisions always made her daughter's motherless or homeless

18 yrs back she opted to give them up ...so they grew up motherless

now she chooses to bring Purvi's baby up in their rightful home so Ovi is homeless

even enemy should not have a mother like her

And if Soham one more time tells how its Purvi's need , someone should tell him then you make space by going elsewhere or u too go to Kirloskar home with Archana and Purvi
